    Hi!

It's been a long time since I last visited C16's forum. Things have changed now and I'm back. I joined the community on the 21st of January 2013 and I realized I never made any introduction post. Well, here's one !

I'm studying english at the University of Nice-city in the South of France, and I plan to teach this wonderful language to my future students thanks to Internet contents. That's one of the biggest project of my professional life. I have 4 more years to do, and I'm thinking about reaching the biggest degree which would take me 5 more years. So basically, I have 9 more years to pass. I wanna bring something new to today's education, especially in France where we have a lot of problems with that.

I'm also working in a restaurant since last month, and I may be working in a pharmacy in two months, at the same time than my studies.

Internet is something that matters a lot for me, as it's thanks to that that I'm still there. I mean, personal events occured and I had to find a way to take care of myself when I was still a little child. I started playing and working on the Internet at the age of seven.

I have a microphone, a good computer, a good internet connection, and everything I currently need to avoid problems.

I am the founder of Orlézion, which is a community about roleplay. Neutral towards the others, we're a calm and nice group of players who only think about playing seriously with our own contents. Indeed, Orlézion introduced new features to the french half life 2 roleplay like, for instance :
    - a global translation of Clockwork and CW:Hl2RP, including voices, that we update when necesary.
    - the first crafting system ever released - at the time I remember asking RJ and kurozael to make one. It's used by rebels, who can make props like tables, chairs, storage items, bandages and so on. Also used by citizens who work at the CWU.
    - a new CWU's system that works with three grades : Bronze Badge, Silver Badge and Gold Badge. New possibilites are offered to the character, depending of his badge. There can be only one Gold Badge.
    - a new MPF unit : CENTRALE in french. It's the female MPF who announces things to the different squads. Her goal is to make sure that procedures happen well, without any mistake. Has her own voices.
    - a smuggler who can help rebels to live. He can get a new random stock of items everyday by rolling a dice that defines the new resources he has. He is supposed to be living out of the city, that's why, in city45, we added a truck in front of the slum's garage (which is his personal area). The garage is like a secret way to leave the city for him.

Welcome, but try not to make your intro post about your community, and instead introduce yourself.

Nevertheless, greetings, and welcome to C16.

Never been a fan of people describing their communities opposed to their self. Regardless, welcome to Cloud Sixteen, enjoy your time.

    Please don't join the "meme-team", it's awful.

    The subject has been edited.

Well, I'm not the one using the tablet in the story. Our graphist is Volpi and is doing an excellent work, always impressing me. However, if I want to draw something by myself, I'd tend to use Manga Studio X (which is not a tablet then) but I'm not that good.

You can see Mary Herynsky (my current avatar), who's my first main character on Half life 2 : roleplay. On the picture I added at the top of the thread, you can also see Francis Gravenier, another character I used to play. Both of them were city administrators. The other girl in white is Jennifer Sheppard, who's a character played by Jeff.

Alright, so you're legit French? That's sweet, really awesome to hear the roleplaying demographic stretching away from North America, Britain, and Russia. You seem pretty awesome for wanting to teach a foreign language, and to be fair, you seem pretty well versed for being French.

I plan to take a vacation to France in the coming years, other than the Eiffel Tower, where are some great spots around the country to visit within a weeks time?

Do you plan to become completely fluent in English, even taking trips to English native countries?

Is France a cool place to live? Do you enjoy it? Why do French people get so angry at me in Counter Strike?

You should get your pal to draw me something similar to my current avatar! ;))

Well, I'd say that the Ardèche is a really good spot to visit if you like the nature. There are a lot of amazing places, with great campings, like this one :
    http://www.camping-belair-ardeche.com/medias/Image/accueil/photo1.jpg

It's a place full of memories for me. And if you're looking for something different, you can have a look to the arroundings of Nice-city. It's a place full of tourists with a lot of things to do. Great place to spend nice holidays, but quite expensive (probably the most expensive area in France after Paris) so be careful.

And yeah! Of course I'd like to become completely fluent in english. I'm planning to spend an entire year in Canada or Scotland in two or three years, as it'd be something that I can do with my studies. Then, later, I'll try to come back at these places. I think that's one of the best way to learn english, and to know its pronunciation. And as a future teacher, that is something I absolutely HAVE to do.

And, well, about the last point, it's quite hard to tell. It always depend of people's social life. I mean, two persons can live in the same city and feel different things. But what I can tell is that I recently moved at 1000 kilometers in order to study in Nice-city's university, which is a... nice one! I was living at the top of France, next to England and Belgium, and now I'm next to Monaco and Italia. I had to leave my family in order to have the best studies. I can tell that I prefer the south more than the North because the North is too calm and there is no job available, nowhere. Nothing is happening there, while the place where I'm in now is really active. It's a new life for me.

The last thing that I found amazing was a group of musicians playing in the street, who were really talentuous !
