    So, Out of both a bit of boredom, I figured I'd show off some of the mapping I have been doing with the Byond Mapping tool and the Sprites I have had some friends toss my way.

    North West, side of town, Basic Castle Included;

    Southern Side, Shops and Inn's included;

    North East Side, Barracks;

    More soon to follow.
    Also, Taking request on what you would liked to be mapped. Caves, Cities, Forests, Grasslands and large penises. Anything and you name it, I'll get it done.

  2. I really don't like Byond. Wonkiest engine ever known to mankind.

    Space Station 13 is awesome though.

    Anyway, SMOOTH MOVES.

    It's pretty wonky. Though I do enjoy the mapping tool for it.
    It's fairly straight forward and easy to use.
    Plus I get to make all my sexy experimental things.

  4. In shitty wonky games.
    I could probably make a better engine with my fingertips bitten off.

    Some games are good, but a vast vast majority are bad.

    The only decent ones I like are SS13/'Ternia

    ShadowOfDoubt In the grim dark future. There is only SCG.

    dood those mappin skills r shit fucking christm an!!!1

    where do the rtanks sprawn?

    OT:

    Looks pretty cool. Personally I've never been into this kind of art style for mapping.

    I prefer more graphical intensive games, like Company of Heroes 2. Etc. Even if it's confusing as fuck at first because it's so different to the older versions used for Warhammer 40k.

  7. SS13 is pretty awesome, but it's still wonky as le fuk.
    I wish they would just decide to make it in Unity since you know, free engine that can easily accomplish that? The biggest fuck of it all would be the netcode, which I have to admit in byond is pretty well synced.

    It doesn't even have to be first person, it can be the same style if they want, Unity has 2D anyway.

    Get to work on it then nerd. SS14 Kurochi edition.
    And you can charge $$$ (30$ pls) to buy the rights to body your own and stuff and things like that.

    But if I could I would switch eternia and SS13 over to a new engine. To much work though.

    >InB4 'y not switch them over 2 wut u r Meking mockup on!!!11'
    Fuck you that's why mockup has burned 1,678$ in my pocket so far.

  9. I kinda have a job right now, I'm bound with a contract to it.
    Most importantly, I don't own SS13.

    Eh. Maybe if I go shouting around on Byond forums someone will fix it up to be less wonky or swap engines.
    Maybe. Just maybe.

  11. I probably couldn't. ;(

    I dunno, it's simple games. It's not a good framework but it's a framework at all, it works, doesn't it?

    Also you know they're making a SS13 standalone, right?
