Honestly, after playing so many HL2RP servers, I'd say the ending with the rebel dying is a little off. But that's just a personal point of view.

I actually go to see this early with a sort of private screening done by him last night on a cinema server.

While I'd prefer the thread not get completely derailed by this, I find it ironic that Mend advertises Vortex. During my brief visit, most of what I saw consisted of poor roleplayers and minges, never-ending gunfire, and a lot of unneeded content that really did nothing to make the server any better. The event was pretty much a s2k fest of mass citizen slaughter and honestly fits the content of the video pretty well.

 

The animation in the video is really. Really good. Absolute shame the server owner himself refuses to take any kind of positive criticism.

As for you Mokhah, Japanese admins?

Those aren't even modeled to be Japanese, just because they're TnB doesn't make them Japanese. And we're using TnB items so that we can have the correct bodygroups for the gloves, beanies, and other clothing items that our players love.

As for "having every plugin", I genuinely don't see anything wrong with that. I don't simply add every plugin, I add ones that I like. More content makes for a better server.

Minges? Minges cannot be controlled. I COULD simply ban every one of them, and then be called "power hungry". My only solution to this is to hire more staff members, which I am doing.

The final, and best part of this is simple.
If you don't like it, just stay out of it!

It entertains me how people can go out of their way to create invalid arguments.

I am going to try not to be vulgar here, but it is hard to not be due to your stupidity. Now, let's get things straight, you talk about minges on the server this is my response... WHAT SERVER DOESN'T HAVE MINGES.. It's not possible to list a server without a number minges. Then you babble on about some 6'8 Japanese Admins, I have no clue what you are trying to go on from that. Last, is it THAT bad to have a lot of GOOD addons..

Goodness gracious, 'listen' to you all ramble about video games. This thread in itself is what Half-Life 2 'Roleplay' is in a nutshell, good grief. I miss the old Ghost Recon communities where literally this kind of drama would just be laughed at. To be honest, who cares if you do not like something about a particular server or community? Most if not all communities provide servers at absolutely no cost to the user nor is anyone actually required to start up a server in the first place. I think the problem is that many people feel a 'need to receive service', every single person unless they are truly being hired, provided a salary and even getting healthcare benefits(?) should be no more or less considered a volunteer.

Video was somewhat humorous and for once also mocks the administration's view of an autonomous waiver as opposed to just the MPF and the citizens/rebels. Mend seems to be going back to a lot of old jokes, so I can't really say this video was much better than the old ones. Meh.

 

Yes. But it is very well made. That doesn't really substitute the biased opinion.

 

I don't know if you guys have ever roleplayed with Mendelevius, but the ~5 times that I have, he's been shit. I don't know if he was trolling or not, because it wasn't trollRP, it was just shitRP.
