holy hell

i just did a fresh uninstall+reinstall of gmod since it was rlly slow and i hated how much random clutter i had.


i had fucking over 20 gb of addons. how did gmod even load.

 

Grootte is Dutch for "Size".

I blame PERP.

 

how does gmod load with all that shit tho
i remember in 12, if you had too much, gmod wouldnt start at all.

 

Garrysmod also has those issues of sometimes just loading and not even mounting any of the things you've downloaded and sometimes the only way to fix it is to keep disabling and re-enabling all your addons. Or a better and more permanent fix is to remove ALL your workshop addons and garrysmod and re-install it all...

i wish you could just like organize your subscribed items. say a server has five items. you can make a collection, and name it: "server name files" and put those items in it. now when you view your subscribed items, you only see "server name files." and then server number 2 has ten items. you put those into "server 2 files," and when you view your subscribed items, you see "server name files" and "server 2 files."


should we tell valve?

 

You know what else would be nice? An unsubscribe from all button.

 

I suggest a Subscribe to All button. You're gonna have a LOT of fun with that, imagine all the weapons in the world, all the vehicles, craptons of props and ragdolls, oh gee, the machinimas with that are going to be real good.

 

That would literally take you eons to download all the content, I don't even know how much stuff is on the workshop but o_o
