I Composed a Song

I'm working on a band composition for it now. Only things wrong with it is the power chord at the end and not enough contrast in the B form.

 

Yuck in a 2/4 :L But its cool I prefer songs to be more in a 4/4 Key sig. You should of made it diminuendo at the end, that would of give it more of a cool effect. Also with it being a Mezzo Forte and being in a Major key gives it a cool/Happy feel. The texture of your piece is a little thin :L You could of give it alot more bass notes.

 

It's fine for a 2/4, mostly because of the left hand, it occurs in sections of 2. Time signature can compeletely change the mood of a piece, it's not really a preference.

It's a little bland though, but then again, I'm a performer, not composer.

 

Don't know too much about music, but I applaud you for using an actual real instrument, unlike the synthesized mediocre music you hear nowadays.

Ye, I haven't added any dynamics or anything like that yet. It's also supposed to be upbeat. It's also in a major key if you didn't notice.

It's about a level 5 piece. A little bit more advanced because of the speed in the treble clef and accuracy needed for the bass clef. I also may change the B form to not use cycling.

Ah, the way your sentence was written caused some confusion as your suggestion was followed by a fact and so I assumed that they were both suggestions.
