i got in a car wreck today coming home from work

luckily though i took like zero damage and their engine block almost fell off, i got towed and theyre getting ticketed. whatever lol

it was hell i was stuck there for 2 1/2 hours and the other person was really toxic about it

anyways good thing you didn't get fucked up, and insurance will obviously come down on your side. I got hit by a dump truck when I was younger (I was also driving an explorer lol) doing 50 in a 25 and it was "mutual fault" because I didn't see him. Well obviously I didn't see him, he was coming around a bend at double the speed limit. W/e, I got a new car thankfully and I haven't gotten a scratch since.

 

i just find it weird that at 18 you have an SUV

I'd say about half of all vehicles on the road are an SUV, crossover or truck, and I live in a more affluent/sedan friendly/environmentally conscious area of the US. Many Americans simply NEED large vehicles because they live out in the fucking boonies, or use it for work.
