Other Item Drop Offsets?

  1. So I'm not the most proficient coder so this may be a simple fix/answer but I' coded an item in but when dropped it spawns a bit in the ground and sometimes disappears into the world. Is there any way to add a position offset upon dropping the item so it doesn't go to Narnia?

    It is a simple bug that remove items thinking it is out of the map.
    If you want a temp fix, just remove the line 115 self:Remove() in clockwork/framework/entities/entities/cw_item/init.lua

    Try using a different world model for the object in question if that's an option. Alternatively, perhaps create a modified version if you're capable of modelling that perhaps has the model oriented differently to prevent it from spawning inside of an object. You could also try spawning it on top of props. Outside of that I'm not really aware of any kind of coding fix, but then again I too am also not the most proficient coder.
