ITT I flaunt my GPU epenis

    hey guys I got a GTX 1080 (EVGA, SC)

    its really nice
    on 1080p I've yet to find a game I can't run on max settings (GTAV, Witcher 3, Battefront/field)
    I tried a 4K (2160p) monitor but I've decided to return it, much to the jest of my dad (it was input laggy, still too much despite the most powerful consumer GPU, app support was few and far, and also not so impressive to be worth the formers)
    Thinking of upgrading to 1440p instead, maybe get one of those fancy 144Hz jobs with G-Sync for my other leg (the first went to my 1080)

    The 480 is maybe better than the 1070 at a dollar to performance ratio MAYBE
    but in terms of raw performance it blows it out of the water, the 1060 is shaping up to be more powerful too

    what's with the MAYBE? it's significantly better than the 1070 in terms of price to power, and spending more for the 1070 for no noticable difference is definitely not worth it.

    irrelevant anyways, 1060 was announced and now that's probably my go to.

    also aflac you're a huge nvidia shill dude.

    again, dollar/performance I would go for the RX480, but in terms of pure performance it's outclassed

    yeah I know, they gave me my 1080 for free!

    Goldsource runs in 4K, its just a matter of whether you can drive 4K graphics (and my experience with the most powerful graphics card available: not there yet. Would still need SLI)

    I'm still rocking a GTX 660. For now.

    I'm still having a blast, able to play ALL of the latest games on high settings.
    Not even SLI.

    660 remains to be the best all round card nVidia ever developed.

    I just ditched the 670 for this 1080
    I mean to be honest it ran most games at 1080p near max, I just have wanted to go to a higher res lately (and run the newest games at highest settings)
