Looking for industrial/urban abandoned area maps.

    I'm looking for a map with a sort of 'industrial/suburbia' mix like this for a new idea for my server. I can't find any ones like it and I'd prefer not to use the stale old outlands sort of map. I was thinking the 'outskirts' of the City, like the buildings you see just outside of the high metal walls in Half Life 2. We are focusing on Survival Roleplay and using things from your environment to your defense, so as long as you have the IC knowledge and tools to do so.

    Any map recommendations or people that are interested in what I had in mind just ask in the thread.

    Sweet reccomendations. I've checked out all of them and here are my thoughts;

    rp_outercanals seems too 'boxed in' and has too many different 'areas' split by walls. It's hard to find a good 'entry' or 'exit from the canals in terms of actually arriving at them in character.

    rp_destruction is really cool. I like the sort of brisk, torn down sort of buildings but I'm not a fan of being able to see outside of the map and into the skybox.

    gm_bay Is AWESOME and unique, but a little bit too small. Perhaps if it had some woods or something of the sort I could compromise.

    rp_silenthill -- Haven't checked it out yet. The screenshots do not really seem to appeal to me but I'll download in it a bit.

    rp_salvation -- Whilst I fucking love the design and layout, it still seems a little bit boxed in and the 'nexus' or mind inside of the metal building is a little bit out of place. All in all it's a good map.

    Thanks for the reccomendations, I'll keep looking and if you have any more ideas feel free to let me know.
