Looking for Sci-Fi RP server with custom lore.

Hey, just like title says, I'm looking for some good Sci-Fi RP server with custom lore.
Something on the spaceship, like rp_sst_bahamut maybe, but doesn't have to be that. Anything really that isn't usual SW/Halo or postapocalyptic theme etc would be fine. Even some sci-fi horror, something alien-ish thing or something would be cool. If there are some interesting, even fresh Sci-fi servers like that with nice background story, let me know. If someone is working on one, let me know too, I might want to help. I am aiming at CW servers because I already have experience with those, also as an admin, and it's perfect for such roleplaying. So I'll be waiting.

Just curious, why not make your own?

 

This -- If you want a neat custom lore, it'd be best to make your own! Be wild, do what you want! Build your own world around the Sci-Fi setting. Even if you never finish it, the experience is always enjoying.

Other than this, and you're adapt on not making your own, I'm not to sure any are out right now. Unless SSTRP counts and is still up.

 

That's really beyond my capabilities. I have literally no clue how to set up custom CW server like that. Also I don't use USD currency and it's kinda a lot when converting to mine, so I am not able to purchase CW schema.

Crap. I knew I should have watched these movies. Now I have no clue what is it about. All I know is it's Sci-Fi, but it somehow pushed me away and I never decided to watch it.

Isn't a different framework bugged like hell? Last time (two times actually) I checked, servers wouldn't even save objects or text during crashes/restarts. That was very annyoing at times, when I worked half a day to build stuff over the map and it was lost each time server went down.

As for the lore and rp opportunities of Space Station 13, it sounds really freaking AWESOME. Lots of freedom and "anything can happen". But I guess there are no servers working on that schema, huh?

 

Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck. I haven't seen any custom Sci-Fi servers in a long time.

Hell, I REALLY wanted to do one of my own based on my own creative writing, but I was too scared simply because these custom Sci-Fi servers never seemed to last and I don't have money to just throw away. I ended up making a Halo RP turned HL2RP. No regrets on the Halo RP, though.

 

Well, my buddy said nobody is interested in what I am looking for. So I guess I won't find a place for myself after all.

 

Don't stop looking, something might pop up eventually you never know.

 

If there aren't any Clockwork or a different framework(not bugged) sci-fi servers like that, then I doubt that someone will make one.

 

I wanted to do this really bad at one point, but I ran into some problems with the server design and ended up losing interest. I might bring it back if I get interested in it again and come up with better plans for how everything should work out.

In fact, I still have the MySQL database for it and the content pack hooked in to my server. It's just collecting dust for the moment.

We are actually filling that niche for you.

The server is up and running with most things working, but we have yet to straighten out many things such as events and bugs.
