Mad Roleplay - Clockwork: New Vegas

Mad-Roleplay is already an established England based community however our current servers are based on the Dark-RP gamemode. We used DarkRP to get our community off the ground as it is the most played game mode in Gmod. We've since decided to move to a more serious roleplay gamemode, and here we are.

The server has been customized for the past 2 weeks in-between my work on our forums. We have currently replaced most of the weapons and are adding more, along with this we have been adding custom food and drink items. As an extra for the few players that have stuck around we are adding the Scars repair tool to the trash spawns, and will be putting blown up vehicles around for people to repair and use. All of these items will be available from our launch this Friday (14/6/2013)

All players that join the server can apply for the different factions that we offer along with a place on the admin time, If your application is good then you have a good chance of being accepted. Our current map is gm_atomic until we find something better, we've heavily customized the static props on this map to create bases for all factions and 2 player run towns.

I look forward to the fun ahead with regards to the server and our players, prepare for Friday and get everyone hyped up for an awesome day of fun roleplay! For those interested in expanding their knowledge before the launch I will be updating our fallout forums constantly from here till Friday and then some more.

Future of the server - We hope to expand on the custom content we have on the server to try and create a fun and immerisive roleplay experience for all players that join. We already have a list of things to add in atop the stuff that we have already added, this includes player farming (Food and such) and expansion of roleplay areas.

Future of the community - As the community is based mainly around non-serious gamemodes we hope that CW: New Vegas will draw in the serious players. This means that if New Vegas goes well then it is likely that we will expand into more Clockwork Schemas to further what we offer.

 

Dark RP to serious RP.

The people of Dark RP and Serious RP are in two different worlds.

 

I've played serious rp since i started playing Gmod and have loads of steam friends that play it, I'm hoping that I can draft in people to increase the servers popularity in our early days.

 

The forums need working on... a lot.

How long has the server been in development?

In what way can we improve the forums?

Server has been in development for around 2 weeks and we will be releasing patches to our content as the server develops.

Too many factions? I think we have an aright amount, enough to offer a wide diversity of role-play and conflict. The remnants will be almost non-existent and the BoS will generally be in their bunker.

Also, our server launches today when i get home from College, it would be awesome if a couple of you hopped on to check out the server (And our awesome loading screen).

 

The background of the forum puts stress on my eyes, maybe it's just that it's early.
The forum is a bit too... basic? No artsy artsty stuff?

 

We're thinking of moving the forum from the clan site 'shivtr' that we use now to another forum creator. We're not too sure what to go for though.

As I said above, thanks to the FIRST response I have since updated that. Nobody had donated yet and you can now not donate for operator.

TL;DR - Nobody is admin that has donated.

The infrastructure seems messed up, if two different people yell two different things.

 

This is actually some pretty wholsome roleplay. If you enjoy the fallout universe, or even immersive RP i'd reccomend this to anyone
