Welcome to the OFFICIAL Melon-Byte community thread, we've had a few random posts in the past but this is the official one. I'd like to detail first that I'm Alex, the now singular owner of the Melon-Byte community.​

Melon-Byte is a community founded on having Fun, as many communities have proclaimed in the past. The servers that we host currently are HL2:RP and TTT, our primary server being our Half Life 2 roleplay. A lot of time has gone into the development of our HL2 server, and we hope to push for a new experience as opposed to the repeated and recycled CityRP that most servers host. With this in mind we will move on to the server information;​

You know you could of just updated the old version and just made a new post saying 'Updated the post' or something along those lines. Also your CP ranking system looks awful, Explain it in more detail because atm it makes no sense.

 

The idea is to make the ranks have more progression, as we have no divisions, more like branches. There is the Medical and the Engineering branches once you reach 06. and if you're confused about the 'i' part, it's simply replacing the '0' most servers use with the one used on the models.

Correct, that's just a goof up.

 

With regards to the ranking;

The ranking is effectively extensive training to i3, then when you reach that level you would be considered an 'Elite' of the force. The additional ranks keep people wanting to come back to get that next rank.

With regards to the weapons;

Combat is going to be a frequent thing on the server so it's important that we give people the best possible tools for the job, M9K weapons seems to suit these needs.

Abolishment of the CWU;

I'll think about this and the point above, I can see what you're getting across and it'll likely effect what my future decisions are.
