Mercenary Legends [Rethread]

MercenaryLegends is a server dedicated to a new canon I have been developing over a great deal of time. It's a concept where in you play a human who seeks new home on a planet after Earth's destruction, but there's a problem. The military keep close tabs on people and the Boulk [enemy who destroyed Earth] are trying to claim the planet before us and wipe us out entirely. Luckily there is a faction of the galactic alliance who agrees to aid us in our efforts. The Shrelik, claiming that the Boulk hunt dishonorably are a race of a more traditional method of 'the hunt' and find the Terrans [Humanity] as a victim in need of aid against this foe. On top of course, of their plane interest in Humanity's strange ways. Humanity isn't all hunky dory yet though. There are small factions that have broken away and believe it's proper to seek revenge against those of the galactic community who didn't aid us.

The premise of the RP was originally to mine Platinum which is Icly rich on the planet, this would earn you coin to use in trade for gear, food and even some housing options.
As of yet, I am still deciding if this is a permanent state, or if people will have the option to start off in the military faction as well, or at least some kind of militia forces.

Honestly to continue, I need a community built up to make the final decision of refining the server. As of now, it's very chaotic as to be expected when developing a purely new canon. Sadly, there is a heavier download list, but I mean hay people download WAY more just to play the next update of WOW.... I'm sure a few addons won't hurt.

I need some serious help refining the story/server rp and suggestions on how to make things more interesting. But to do that, I need people who can RP to play so we can find the real issues.

The map is still in Early release, and the server is unrefined, but I have no doubt in it's potential.

Edit: Plan on checking it out sometime, I love Sci-Fi rp.

 

Really bad presentation, thread looks ugly. I think that the lore really touches close to that one word also known as cliche. Sci-fi is always aliens and other worlds and war and lasers. When do we get unique ideas? Also I don't think there would be much RP to do with the maps you can use.
