Amusing how you neglected to tell the truth. I know the guy you're talking about and this is all lies backed up with more lies.

1.) He originally made it payment for admission as it's a PRIVATE rp, never to be made public mind you, later making it application AND payment based. No one had bought access yet, that's a hoax.

2.) The guy you talked to obviously had no idea what he was talking about, seeing that he said "MARIJUANA!" and then stopped talking, no one bought access.

3.) "beta pass", what the hell is this? It's a private rp, there's no "lol its a beta, come get a head start", it's a PRIVATE server that has whitelist applications?

At any rate, I never get on cloud sixteen, but if you're going to make up a lie then at least make it good.

i've played both of these and I've only really seen some over the top donation perks that give you an absurd amount of money, weapons, cars. In GTA's case PD whitelist etc. Never payed admission. It's a dumb idea for a server owner who obviously gives zero fucks about genuine roleplay. I'm just waiting for a private server that is ran by the owner with zero donations etc. Good little tight nit community.

 

sorry mr. communist man but things COST MONEY and servers cannot survive peeps cant have a super tight nit server with no donations and last too long unless the owners got a job. and if he does have a job then they don't have a ton of time to run the server

my point is. i believe the community should be ran by the owner and not the people who fund the server via donation money. if anything i'm not a commie just a simple authoritarian. the server should be ran for the people by an owner who is just as dedicated to playing the server and experiencing it for himself as he is keeping it up and doing dev things. not just sitting on his ass and watching the money flow in. donations and various other things make this game and gamemode ironically take itself way to seriously.
