MOONLIGHT OUTLANDS HALF-LIFE 2 ROLEPLAY

Moonlight is a new Outlands server that started out on the 1st of March as a community and launched its outlands server two days afterwards, on the 3rd of March. It is an ambitious server with a unique Outlands structure. The server focuses on expanding Outlands Rebel and Refugee Roleplay beyond than that of your average Outlands server. The server has a large variety of plugins and addons that are carefully used for roleplay enhancement without causing unwanted lua errors. The server is operated by a small team of administrators with the utmost care and professionality along with a friendly attitude to people. Everything is roleplayed properly, including item acquiration. Our server includes a loot system where loot is spawned every hour or so, allowing player-made groups to evolve.

Aside from the server itself, we offer some nice Enjin forums. The Enjin forums have been made easy to use and navigate through without too much effort.

Canon
Sector 8 Outlands, 2016.
In the suburbs of City 8 where many people seek refuge from the oppressive Combine forces, there is a thin amount of food, drink and shelter. Often these refugees resort to peaceful means and present solidarity to those who encounter them, offering food and shelter. Very few however do not regret escaping from the safe walls of City 8 to the no man's land of Sector Eight where many also commit acts of banditry for the sake of survival.

The Transhuman Arm has yet to make it's presence known in Sector Eight. Many live hopelessly in fear, awaiting their arrival.

Server Factions

Player-made Groups
Player-made Groups can be created on our server. Player-made groups may have their own ideals, goals or other ambitions. Or they can simply exist out of the need to survive in the Outlands. The group system works like this; the leader of the group gets pe flags and one passworded container for the entire group. The group may choose a location anywhere on the map to settle in - as long as they can ICly hold it. Refugee RP has no limits.

Overwatch Transhuman Arm
A small detachment of the Transhuman Arm resides somewhere in the area. As of now, their location is unknown and their activities remain a mystery. Refugees tend to disappear every once in a while however...

Vortigaunts
The creatures with an understanding of things beyond than that of what a human could possibly comprehend. Armed with resourcefulness and great knowledge, they are quite the survivors in the Outlands.

Zombies
The unfortunate fate of humans. Mutated creatures roaming the Outlands. These usually do not last long alone but they are quite formidable in groups. A real nuisance to the refugees of Sector Eight.

a few questions.

What plugins do you have on your server?

Does it require me to have TnB?

I might try it out, but I need to know this stuff first.

We have lots of plugins.. Ofc we use the ones that are best for our gamemode.. TnB has been removed from the content pack, due to some errors we came across

 

I'm a massive fan of Outlands servers, but y'know, I have high standards and that.

How many players do you average during the week, and what time zone are most of your staff located at/in?

 

I'm afraid I can't really give you an average amount of players as we just started, but today we got to 9 players. The server and staff are European, which are mostly in the GMT+1 timezone.

 

I wouldn't put the responsibility of activity of others on yourself, as long as you remain active, you are doing all you can

 

Like Polis I really like Outlands more then City, the owner seems friendly which is always a bonus
