You're probably reading this because you're curious, and thinking to yourselves;
"Forester, why should I play Myrder Gamings server? Last Refuge already has that gamemode nailed down, and new metro servers pop up every day. Besides, wasn't there already a topic on this? You guys got shat on, if i remember right!"

Well let me tell you, user, there's plenty to come from Myrder gaming! We're a small start-up community looking to build a closeknit group of friends who love to roleplay together. We're relaxed, chill, and like to roleplay for fun, not for 'seriousness' (which often leads to fights, tension, and arguments).

Our canon is a mixture of the book and the videogame, and we try our best to stick to it. Sorry guys, no plasma lasers today! We think you'll enjoy what we've done with the story, to allow players the freedom to make characters, and take risky decisions.

We like our events detailed, and long term. We have many long-term event schemes in the works, like, for example, Infestation Area! A multi-faceted event to determine the presence and quantity of mutants in the tunnels.


Some features of the server include:

• Customized Clothing (Now with removable helmets!)
• Gasmasks and Poisonous gas Zones
• Custom Metro2033 SWEPs
• 'Elecs' famous Metro 2033 Gamemode
• Player Driven Economy
• Hansa Trade System (You'll have to join to learn about this one!)
• 24/7 Merchants in the Stations!
• Bullets have Weight
• Glowsticks!
• Character Transfer. (From any community, with proof)

Some features in the works include:

• A custom map!
• More SWEPs
• Custom SNPCs
• Custom Rail Cars
• A quest system, with jobs and hits
• Wonderful donator perks, like custom clothes
• And much more...!

Some of the servers ground rules:

• Sex RP is strictly forbidden in server. No detailed cybering, especially in populated areas. If you must, take it to private messages.
• All deaths are PERMANENT. None of those fancy-schmancy HL2RP style rules, when you die, you are dead.
• Of course, all the basic roleplay rules apply. Things like no RDM or Metagaming are givens.

As a server we're ever expanding, and we always love to hear input from the players, however hostility is not appreciated. Unfortunately as a community director, I'm not omnipotent, so if you have any comments, concerns, or complaints, I'd love to hear them! But please guys, keep it clean. There's no need to be condescending for one small cock-up, okay?

To those of you who may have visited us during the passed couple of weeks, (or should I say weaks) consider that a beta test. We're working on some new stuff, and we think you'll like it. On another note, for those of you who chose to enlarge this. I do, (and have) formally apologize for taking Last Refuges format. The staff member who did so, did it behind the back of my co-director and I, and it's not the kind of public image we want to set off. The only reason I made this tiny is cause i know this isn't the section to be putting an apology monologue into, but i can't think of anywhere else to leave this. So for those of you who bother to re size and read this, I ask of your forgiveness, and hope you won't pigeonhole the rest of us for one mistake.

Sorry about the delay... We had a small (I really mean big) incident with a community member. We had to shut down our forums and server, but either way, here is our server IP : 63.251.20.209:27015

We at Myrder Gaming are pointing towards the betterment of role-play and the happiness of the users. we aim to please all whom come forth to try out our server. Criticism and comments are welcome! Are staff team is ever improving and so is the community as a whole. We currently seem to be the only active metro server in all of Garrysmod, we hope that while this is still in effect that we can attract a few eyes and perhaps a few seasoned role players. We also have applications on the forums for PAC3, Advanced skills, and Character transfer. (You can transfer your character from any community, so long as it was metro, to our server. Of coarse you will need proof of your character.)

Server content:

• Working radiation areas.
• Custom metro sweps! Such as the VSV, Kalash2012, Duplet, and more!
• Head Hack clothing. (You can type /togglemask to take off or put back on your helmet. It also removes the balaclava on any of our clothing.)
• Working gas masks
• Bullets have weight
• Working Night Vision goggles

Some features in the works include:

• A custom map.
• Custom SNPCs
• Custom Rail Cars
• Much more to come!

Factions:

You can apply for any and all factions in character. You can also soon apply to create your own player created factions!

Red Line-



The Red Line is an area of the metro that is currently lead by General Secretary Comrade Maxim Moskvin of the Communist Party of the Moscow Metropolitan; in short, Secretary Moskvin. The Communists (also commonly referred to as "The Reds") are a Far Left faction within the Metro Series, at war with the Fourth Reich. They are characterized by their large population and military, as well as their neutrality to most other Metro factions despite their underlying hostile demeanor. Primarily making up Red Village (Krasnoselskaya), Red Gates (Krasnye Vorota), Komsomolskaya, Lenin Library (Biblioteka im. Lenina), the stations on the Red Line officially re-endorse communism and the socialist type of government used by the USSR - neighboring stations did so in rapid succession while some of them overthrew their own governments. A trait among the Red Line is that while they are normally neutral and not as openly imperialistic as the Nazis, they often attempt to gain control of nearby stations by either gradually exerting their influence upon the current government or backing the overthrow of it in favor of a pro-Communist government - either way they will eventually take over and integrate the station into the Red Line and regard them as a "free" station.


Fourth Reich-



The Fourth Reich is a Neo-Nazi faction within the post-apocalyptic metro system. As with most factions in the Metro universe, the Fourth Reich did not appear spontaneously, but evolved from an existing group, most likely radicals in the Central Metro Command. The Nazis are a National Socialist faction in the Metro centred around the three main stations of Tverskaya, Chekhovskaya and Pushkinskaya, but they have also set up numerous outposts and maintain a military presence in several outlying stations, possibly as an attempt at expansion as the Nazis are an imperialist faction.

Rangers-



The Rangers, "Stalkers", and also known as Spartans (conversely, the Spartan Order), are a group of elite battle hardened soldiers that roam the wasteland, consisting of the most skilled and deadliest warriors in the whole of the Metro. The Rangers move individually or in small units helping settlements as well as fighting bandits and mutants. They also appear to have strong ties to Polis. he Rangers maintain a permanent base located in a church on the surface, known as Sparta. The origin of the Rangers are unknown, but some of the members may have been soldiers from the Russian Army or from the Russian Special Forces (Spetsnaz) before the 2013 apocalypse. They may as well have been mercenaries or some sort of other armed forces.


There will also be other factions, such as Mutants, Bandtis, and Hanza.

The forums need improving. Too white, and the yellow names of some people is pretty much impossible to read.

 

I have just actually did the forums today. It does need some work, I will be doing that later tonight though.

Haha perhaps. It's still under development. Also I changed the background to a different color. People say it looks better.

 

We are sorry to say that our server is now down. We are attempting to fix any and all problems we are currently experiencing with our server. We hope to have it up and running soon! I will keep you all informed.
