Name the first HL2RP Community you played in.

Hey everyone. Been gone for years, old as hell now. So, Pretty simple question in the title. Any fond memories of it? How long ago was it?

For me it was SynCORE. This was back in 2011 so about six years ago. At my age back then I should not have been allowed with a Civil Protection whitelist. I also remember I use to freak out on the radio when I saw contraband and I was so upset back then that when my 05 died I raged quit for 2 days. Good times.

 

Welcome back! I honestly cannot remember it was so long ago. However, I do remember minute details like being placed into a detainment cell with some raving lunatic obsessed with ketchup. If my memory serves me right, he was placed into there in the first place because he squirted UU sponsored ketchup packets onto an officer's visor.

I also shared a cup of coffee with some asian woman in a store as she put me up to speed with current events. I believe the map was City 18.

 

can't remember what it was called, but it was some server on c18 where i stumbled upon your standard cliche rebels and a baby vortigaunt that had their base on the rooftops. i remember that even then, it was obnoxious watching the baby vortigaunt rp like somebody straight from club penguin

 

hahahahha holy shit i know the server. they named the vortigaunt like some stupid name like 'little fuck' or something

my first community was dark:fraction, not hl2rp, but still where i learned to rp

my actual first was lemonpunch, but all i did was walk around for ten minutes before leaving confused

 

I can't remember the name, but the first one I played on was owned by 'impulse (a previous CW developer) back on OpenAura. I mostly remember failing the quiz a bunch of times and getting banned for attribute farming. :V

After that I joined Catalyst Gaming and actually got involved in it.

I remember joining a handful of servers without knowing how to talk in OOC or anything, don't know the name and everything was an error. Then I joined a server where I watched 5 people rp for the first time, it was some stupid samurai dual or some shit and everyone was fighting OOC, but I specifically remember one /me that one person did.

[Stereotypical Japanese name] **Grabs the woman's nipples and says, "Still fresh milk."

I left for a good 2 years and came back and joined SCG and it was fun.
