Need Help!

Hello I got Clockwork - HL2RP And i wonder if anyone could assist me in installing it!

i tried installing it but it always crashes and shit.

 

Please can you be more specific, it could be crashing for millions of reasons, show the errors you get on you're servers console/log.

 

Well the gamemode loads and then crashes and then returns to Sandbox and changes back to HL2RP but you don't have the intro or anything.

 

1. Do you have a serial key entered in the config.

2. Do you have a MySQL server installed

3. Have you set the default gamemode to "cwhl2rp"

You really need to be a bit more specific and as Jamiecross said, show the console log, otherwise we're taking shots in the dark.

 

Refer to the Wikipedia on Revotech. If that's not clear, then ask someone for the link. I wouldn't have it on me as of just now.

If it is then not clear, give me a pm, and I'll walk you through it.

 

Well it's not really clear to me, I did the mysql... Default CWHL2RP. And it still does not work and i know my Mysql is vaild. i have a key i puted in the config. and the revotech is not clear enough for me.

 

It should not be in caps, +gamemode, sv_gamemode or whatever you are useing it does not like caps, make it "cwhl2rp" so it looks like +gamemode "cwhl2rp" or sv_gamemode cwhl2rp AND NOT "+gamemode CWHL2RP or sv_gamemode CWHL2RP

That's the error, to fix this goto the gamemodes folder and rename CWhl2rp to cwhl2rp and the txt file inside it then try.

 

Also the fact that your sandbox has issues means that you have not updated the server properly to the latest version of GMod.

file.FindInLua was removed when GMod13 was introduced which has been a couple of months ago. Make sure to update your server with -verify_all as a command prompt parameter for hldsupdatertool.

Something might be broken, like TJjokerR said your sandbox shows errors (file.FindInLua) and that's not supposed to happen.
If you've tried updating the server and that didn't solve the problem then you should try to reinstall your entire server, backup some important files however.
