Important New Forums (BETA)

Today we have opened the beta website for our brand new community forums. Soon, the existing forums will be moved to a http://legacy.cloudsixteen.com domain, and the new ones will take over. The new beta forums can be found at http://eden.cloudsixteen.com and you can Sign Up with e-mail, or via Discord or GitHub.

Things to be aware of regarding these changes

• The old forums will stay up on the legacy domain for the rest of the year and possibly longer, so that users can move over content that they feel is valuable and to be able to access useful guides and preserve any threads they personally enjoy or are fond of
• The new forums will expand over time, with a new and fresh userbase, in preparation for our future Cloud Sixteen endeavours such as our venture into S&box and the future release of our Steam game
• The new forums will also be extended over time, added to, and styled appropriately depending on the feedback of the new userbase
• We are going to desperately need community contributors to help populate the new forums with useful guides, plugin discussions, and general friendly discourse to bring the new forums to life
  
• We will not be tolerating any sort of trolling, excessive D4nk Meme$, flaming, or general anti-social behavior. These forums will be heavily moderated and will not devolve into what the old forums became

When will the new forums go fully live?
The new forums will go fully live by the end of July, and possibly even before that. At the same time as the new forums go into a live release, the old forums will be moved to the legacy domain.

How do I access the new forums in the mean time?
To access the new forums you'll need to use the temporary beta URL which you can find at http://eden.cloudsixteen.com

I want to transfer over my usergroup to the new forums...
If you want to transfer over your usergroup, for example if you have the `Customer` or `Legend` status on the old forums, you'll need to first join the Cloud Sixteen Discord server over at https://discord.gg/EEg47Dw and then PM either myself @kurozael, or any member of staff with the Manager or Moderator role. You'll need to verify that you should have the `Customer` or `Legend` group by proving that you have it on the old forums. You'll also then be added to that role on the Discord if you aren't already.

I have ideas for the new forum that I'd like to see implemented...
If you would like to share your ideas for the new forum, you can start a discussion about your idea in the Meta category of the new forums which can be found at http://eden.cloudsixteen.com/t/meta

You may want to also mark your discussion with the `Idea` tag to keep things tidy!

Here's a brief rundown of the new category types so far:

• The Announcements category is a place where Admins and Moderators can post important news for the community
• The Casual Discussion category is for all casual discussion and contains an Introductions area for introducing yourself, and a Meta sub-category for all discussion relating to the forum itself
• The Programming category is a chill zone for programmers and coders to discuss what they love the most
• The Clockwork category contains various sub-categories all related to the discussion of the Clockwork framework. As with the old forums, you can post threads about your community here too to try and garner interest in your server
  
• The Video Games category is a catch-all category for any video game related discussion, but it does have two dedicated sub-categories for Garry's Mod and S&box
  
• There are a few secondary tags that can be applied to any discussion, these include Question, Idea, Important, and News
