Introduction
As of yesterday I have made a new HL2RP Server. My friend and I both have a ton of experience in HL2RP and wanted to try to make our own server for the gamemode. The server is up 24/7 and we are trying our best to stay as active as possible on the server. The server currently runs on the map 'rp_industrial17_v1'. We currently run this map because we are a new server looking for new players, and this map is the most common in all of HL2RP, but in the near future we will be looking to change the map to a more unique one to change up the roleplay style a tad. So far we have added as many roleplay enhancing features to the server as possible and are looking to add any needed in the future. We try our best to keep the server interesting and unique for all players. Currently we have twenty player slots on the server, which is more than we currently need considering the opening of the server to the public was yesterday. Obviously if we do have a need to increase the player slots we will do so. On our server we try to limitate the amount of rebels and resistance members, to provide a balanced roleplay experience between all of the factions. We are still new and would appriciate any advice given.

Citizen Roleplaying
Roleplaying as a citizen means you are under Authority of the Overwatch or MPF (Metro-Police Force). Basically you are a malnourished, weak citizen who is governed by a extremely powerful group of figures. Roleplaying as a citizen is often boring and is a great way to practice PassiveRP. An example of PassiveRP is having a conversation with your room mate while watching the streets below you through your window. PassiveRP can get dull and is why there are multiple different numbers of factions and classes.
MPF Roleplaying
Roleplaying as an MPF basically means you are good enough at RP to be allowed to use another faction of characters. Roleplaying as MPF can be dull at times but is usually action packed. Roleplaying as an MPF depends on your division. The most common division is Union and is what I will be going over. The Union division is the most basic unit of the MPF and is basically a patrol officer. As a Union it is your job to patrol and to keep the citizen's under the UU's iron fist laws. As an MPF unit you will learn as you go and become better and better at roleplay.
Basic Roleplaying
Half Life Role-play is based on the video game Half Life 2. This is a SERIOUS roleplaying gamemode and you are expected to know how to use capitals, spell correctly and know how to use commas and periods. Some basic facts about HL2RP; LOOC stands for Local Out Of Character and can be used in game by typing './/' or '[[' before your message, this addressing out of character things to people around you. Next is OOC which is the same as LOOC except it addresses everyone on the server and can be accessed in game by typing '//' before your message.
