!MPACT Servers HL2RP​

What we are​

!MPACT Servers is a group hoping that they can rise up as a big group. We have 4 servers so far. Three in gmod (Including this) and one in CSS. I brought up the idea of a HL2RP because it is my favorite gamemode and I love to play it. And I knew just how to run it and code some things. So far no one has really played except one guy who was being a jerk about not having IC apps. But I am hoping that post can change it.​

I am still trying to work on some stuff to add to the server to make it better. Maybe a map or something around that. But so far I think I did good for two days to start off with. I hope to see you on if you can join!

Buddy why would you even bother making a post to start with if you where not going to give it the proper dedication it required. By doing this not only does it reflect poorly on your server but you in general. It shows that you rush your work rather then take the proper time needed. You didn't even post an IP address for me to connect to. Sorry but my verdict is 0/10

That's allot better but im curious how is the condition of your staff?

 

Four servers is a lot to handle, I can barely keep up with two.

I recommend that you use software such as 'Simple Machines Forum' to host your community forums, that way you should be able to host the forums in either a folder on your domain or a sub-domain. The software I mentioned is free and has a very strong community backing it (even this website uses the software):

It is nice that you have a central website, although I cannot be critical on everything, my only recommendation there is that you minimize the amount of text as possible and be consistent in your colour choices (avoid anything that 'blends in' with your white background, like bright red or yellow).

How do your factions work?

The thread is a bit rubbish which is something you should probably fix, and you basically only use plugins from RJ? Lol

 

Before I had bought the HL2RP I had ran it off TTT.

Saddly.... I only have three staff members. Mainly because this is a group running DarkRP and Sandbox. I asked all the admins pretty much and they said they didn't know what HL2RP is.

I think there is some more plugins and I shall post them below.

I run Combine only right now. I am trying to find some people to apply that can roleplay but I can not get anyone so none is really totally owning factions. But I still kind of am gonna be running them in a OOC way. So Vortigaunts are really gonna be ran by a OOC leader if people apply. I am gonna be the highest ranking CWU but not the leader. I hope I answered your factions question.

The addons are really just CURRENTLY Metropolice pack. Later on I am gonna code TnB in. But that will be a while do to the huge amount of models and picking out the ones with a UU clothing style.

My lore is just really a new server. Just a normal RP server. Not really much different. I really don't care what people say such as, "Oh... This is just like all the other servers.... Not that cool." I just try to get players to have fun and make sure everyone else is having fun and to stop anyone ruining others fun. (Unless it is legit IC things.)

 

Now 5 servers are currently. 3 gmod, 1 CSS, and one TF2.

 

Don't branch too far out so early.

 

He doesn't own the community, and it sounds like they have had these other servers for a while.

 

I told the owner he was pushing it but then we are now going to a group with 7K players. Maybe those servers will do now...

I don't think even Hell zone has that many players.

 

Currently the owner said that it will be more of a partner ship and it should attract more players to play on our servers. Thats all he really said to me.

I agree with you Dub, but it is always worth a shot. And so my friend (The owner of !MPACT) had said that he found a host with a coupon for a LIFE TIME 32 slot server for 5 bucks on gmod. Kraken Servers and I still have to look into it to see if it is Linux and if its legit, etc... Should I really trust this?

 

No, everybody has to make a profit and selling your services for 5 dollars for life is a terrible move.
