Nightmare roleplay.

Ok, I dont know if this is the correct place to put it, BUT WHY on Earth do people play Nightmare-roleplay? Ok, sure you like those type of games which have demons and devil's and flying winged character's. BUT why, my friend said it's a place where your character simply, "dies". Your character die's, it's in Hell or Heaven, deal with it-- why the stupid roleplay? It makes no sense to me.

It seem's pointless imo, what about your opinions?

its a very malleable type of roleplay that has a lot of potential but takes a shitload of effort to upkeep, and massive scrutiny about what is allowed and what is not
unfortunately, server management usually fails in that latter portion and players swamp the servers simply for the freedom aspect the gamemode provides them.
servers are v poor at the whole control thing.
imagine xmen + zombie apocalypse only with all the super powers being little kids personal dreams

This is exactly what it is.

It's just a server for kids to live their fantasies about being a fairy or unicorn weeb fuck.

 

AKA it allows freedom about how you want your character to be without making it too OP, it's different, and that is what makes it good.
Although in a few servers *COUGH* BLACKSUN *COUGH* the admins simply stop putting interesting stuff into it and reject the idea of performing events, which needless to say brings the community to it's doom when the staff team fights against itself to decide what to do, when in reality all they had to do was listen to their playerbase.
The lore, RP and everything else won't matter if the staff team can't maintain the roleplay. That is what makes it unique; it needs constant attention, else it dies.

I alway's thing it's about Devil's n Demons who murder you or make you a sex-slave for fucking another Demon or something.

 

That heavily depends on the server. Some just make slightly different mutants that don't really have a lot to brag about while others make those fucking demons with bullhorns, spiky tails and TK.

It also depends on the server. Nightmare is mostly turned around survival, but it also has a soft-spot for social post apocalyptic RP. When the staff team has no idea what they are doing, they can mistake "social RP" for sexual RP, and well.... it doesn't end well both for the cringiest characters forums section and for the rest of the server.
though idk why a human would like to buttfuck a mutant, perverts sadly rule most servers nowadays

 

There's always losing your virginity, using your hand, Pornhub, Brazzers, Actual sex and not virtual 24/7 sex.
