HL2RP Official Server... POLL!

It's really quite a fuss to really get it down,

I really, really, really want a good HL2RP server that isn't shit. Genuinely, I join GMod, go into server browser, and if the servers there haven't banned me for saying it's shit, then I know it's shit and won't join.

However... It could kind of bring the spotlight onto it. It's the official server, right? Not only will the forums be flooded with loads of new people, the server would join the forums and such just to try and get into the circlejerk that WILL form.

I dunno, really. I'm worried about it.

 

Being Garry's Mod, it'd probably end up with drama from other communities if the server is even a mile close to success.

 

I wouldn't be so sure just yet. After all it would be most likely owned by the higher ups of C16. if there isn't any bad blood between them on the forums, and no outsider help is accepted, i couldn't see much drama being had.

IMO this server could help the community immensely

 

If it's very good in people's eyes, then every big community is probably going to try to shut it down because they'd be losing their players.

LP isn't fed by C16, neither are a different framework communities.

 

ik that, but what company did gurazzor buy from? i feel like if lp did try something in retaliation to them losing players most likely they would be fucked up the ass, assuming that kuro has control over people's accounts and keys. it'd be dumb for any community owner to fuck with the very same people who made the product they make revenue on. that's what i meant by that.

 

They pay the a past Clockwork contributor company, but yeah in all seriousness they just have a past Clockwork contributor as a developer so they don't have CAX and are completely independent of C16.

They won't need to worry if the management that the P4 server had was any indication. This is honestly just going to be a public testing server from what it seems like.

See what would be cool is if kuro gave control over CW to someone he trusts, then he could start steering C16 into new territory without having to worry about it, stuff like what Hipster suggested. That'd be exciting.

 

We can beat LP like this but never cares.

It would be nice to play with the C16 Director the problem is where do we create applications for every signle Faction.
And who will be staff ?

And which map it would be?
And whats about the minges. Do kurozael develope the minges in CW so they can't join a server?

I'm sure it will be decided soon, since it seems like it's gonna happen now. It'll probably use the P4 server.

Why not a DEV server for everyone, suggest your plugins that you want to test to the owner.
