Hi! Xanderdante here, co-lead of the Civil Protection faction over at OG with RapidJuice. Our factional junction operates in a way that's very different than that of most other servers-- TnB is no exception with this. RapidJuice and I have implemented the ideological system of a flat hierarchy in terms of "ranking structure" with the ability to get varied "Civil-Effort Credits" so that officers within the Metropolice may redeem given "vouchers" such as a psycho-mechanical or non-mechanical reproduction simulation(s). I'm more than willing to answer any questions about the canonical validity of the Civil Protection either here or on the OG forums. Thanks.

 

It says in the wiki that they were under Civil Protection. During the C17 uprising their captain, Vance, and the rest of the conscripts fought with the resistance in the uprising with tanks (supplied by combine).

 

These guys are kind, welcoming and have a good server.

Vonel is actually kinda right. As a mod you should stay non-biased.

 

Give him a break lol; he's allowed to give his opinion as a mod, why should a mod not have an opinion?

 

It's just like a commentator for a sports team on ESPN. They can't have bias. It's literally not allowed or they could be fired.

I, to an extent, agree with you guys, however, I do not think that my freedom of speech is invalid because I am a moderator. When I like something, what stops me from saying I do?

Mods are not special in any way...

The only thing we do is make sure no rule breaking happens. What you people are saying is that a security guard at a football game can't say who he wants to win. Comparing a guard to a commentator is pretty dumb.

A recently started community with friendly admins and players, including a complicated but interesting Civil Protection theme with the role-playing itself taking part in everyone's favorite, but modified map, C17_build_145, yo' know? The map that we all got to take a part of during our very first playthrough of Half Life 2. This time however, there's no Gordon and there's no spreedy-walkthrough to ruin our mood while investigating the depressing and run-down atmosphere that the map is based of, which we so kindly find in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four as well.

I recommend this server.

I've been apart of Cloud Sixteen (since Feb 9 2012) and playing almost every gamemode kurozael has developed on multiple servers for many years.

To top it off, this is probably one of the best Half-Life 2 roleplay servers I've encountered so far. They taken HL2RP to originality in terms of the actual game. When I often play, I feel as if I'm there in Half-Life 2 and not just some roleplay server.

Overall, very great community so far considering it's almost entirely brand-new and is a MUST check out.

I had high hopes, but I was disappointed from the forums alone, so I didn't even play on the server. The way rebelling is handled, revolving around having to be or know an admin, is a colossal letdown for me. No backstory for their characters.

 

Is this the Johnny Bravo from Lemon Punch or some other dude? Also, will try it out some time. I plan on making a come back to HL2RP. Or any RP.
