Welcome to the plane of infinite existence, where the reign of presidents, prime ministers, clandestine organizations, CEO's and Nercc's don't rule. No, this isn't purgatory, and you haven't died, but this is a fully integrated universe among an infinite set of them, all of which are in the grasp of travel within your own dimension. The world is ever-changing and there is not a present way of exiting this new "realm" you've been mysteriously transported into. Every person you meet is from a world other than your own, hailing from places unknown and bearing knowledge and tales that are literally out of this world. As you delve into this new realm you'll hopefully begin to learn about the universe, where exactly you are, and why you were put there from the beginning. Things don't work the way they do back in your place of origin, and with a change in the fundamentals of your own world you've been also mashed together with groups of people who have been put in the same situation along with a small existing portion of the world that has been there since the beginning. Whether you rally with players for a common, super ordinate goal, or choose to feud and cast weapons towards those who you believe are your enemy, it is up to you and the players you have been put up with to make an attempt to do something about your current situation. Whether that be existing in your current setting and making it habitable, or escaping, it is in the hands of those who wish to drive the reins forward that will impact the most.

Overrule: Infinite Worlds is a custom schema based around the well-developed GURPS Infinite Worlds Pen and Paper game, made out with a twist to suit the needs of the everyday player. Create any character from any universe, even those of which you wish to make yourself, and interact with other players who come from different canon's and universes. Your character is put in a position where they've been transported to a section of this infinite plane, shafted down into a world that follows a new logic, with no real rhyme or reason to it. You and the other players that you exist have entered the unknown, and is up to everyone to get together and strive for a new alternative. Whether or not you chose to live there or make an attempt at an escape, the unknown still lingers ahead.

I believe I've played on something like this before, and it was pretty fun as long as there's some good quality control to it. Thread's pretty plain though, wouldn't hurt to see a few images to spice it up. Otherwise, nice.

I like the style of the forum too.

 

itll probably run better than the smut on invictus for sure

one issue is the fact the owner on invictus doesnt care and the staff are hanging by a thread, players are toxic too
youll get better quality through app process

 

Precisely why we're doing it, we've seen some of the problems other servers have had and hope to fix those or at the very least avoid them. Because the concept is really cool, just never seen it executed properly. So we'll take a crack at it and see how it goes, eh?

(no joke here the admins know what they're doing. they've successfully ran multiple servers in the past that were fantastic. they're far from stupid and they aren't kids, so you've got something to look forward to)

 

uh well honestly Warhammer chars ruined Invictus apparently (I would never play I heard it was dogshit), and this is basically Invictus so the same thing probably still applies. apparently someone tried to play an adeptus sororitas and tried to 1v1 a champion of khorne which i thought was pretty funny

I mean... That's perfect.

It doesn't matter how OP you try and make your character, if you're being a dick, someone will just make an even more OP character to kill you.

Yeah, RIP. Was a good concept but I saw BloodMaster, Banya, Cinnamon Bun.. It wasn't looking too good.

 

The only reason it shut down was cause the staff couldn't produce what they wanted as an acceptable roleplay experience for the players because of IRL issues.

 

Yeah, that seems like a common theme for a lot of servers, though I will note with a playerbase that literally copies and pastes Invictus it'd literally go nowhere.
