    As for the strict vs lenient MPF; you need a balance of both. You can't have MPF that are so strict that all they do is act like prudent assholes beating people for jumping once, but you also don't want MPF that are buddy buddy with citizens, chillin' in the bar with them (something that I see often on newer HL2RP servers).

    The majority of donation packages get ridiculed, plus they're pretty short term. It's probably just a way for a server to sustain itself and for people to help support it. It makes sense to me, since most server owners are either poor college students or 12 year olds.
