  2. I personally would play a lot of severance / epidemic roleplay. I was even working on a schema like that, but I gave up after a while. If not severance, I'd probably play P4 a bunch, because to me that shit never gets old.

  6. I don't see the appeal for the epidemic schema(s), The lore could be interesting and all but gameplay wise It's just scavenging, shoot some zombies, make a party, party gets broken apart, scavenge, shoot the traitor in party, you find police/military and they are the bad guis/good guys, get killed or get saved

  7. idk dude it was just super fun since severance was based more around gun play.
can you contribute something for once instead of worthlessly replying for le funny funnies?

Severance will always be fav, purely because it's so hard to craft a really atmospheric Apocalyptic roleplay and propely incorporate everything into it, but once it's done right it's so fucking good.

ShadowOfDoubt In the grim dark future. There is only SCG.

Nah, it just ends in roaming packs of savage lesbians tongue fucking every female they meet to the depths.
Or just ERP'ers in general really.

Anyway, I'm a real sucker for Fallout. I kinda lost hope for most military servers as they're never done right at all.

  10. Cereal

    Cereal big FAGGOT !1!!!!!

some far-fetched distant-future apocalypse like schema would be interesting. imagine a very sophisticated, advanced society with the bearings of it all stripped away from it-- and reenact it as a true chaotic apocalyptic experience. (apocalypse doesn't always have to be bland and cliche- (E.G.: "THERE WAS NUKES! THERE WAS EPIDEMCI!!!1111 THERE WAS A PLAGUE!!1 THERE WAS A VIRUS THAT TURNED PEOPLE INTO NEKOS FROM THIS ANIME I WATCHED!!!) try to be more original tbh) do this to avoid the erping cock monglers that you don't want; it should help with that problem a bit
now that I go into more depth, here's a very gray example:
"A colony of humans have been living on mars for about a century now. The agriculture on the planet suddenly hit a stump, and a famine was caused due to.. "insert reason here," resulting into high demand of "insert resource" - and the political unrest caused society to crumble to its knees due to the colony no longer becoming sustainable."

  11. Starkiller

    Starkiller OwO whats this!

    Big fucking summary incoming.
I basically would want someone to make a Roleplay about the Story of Crossed.

    Plotline:
The story follows survivors dealing with a pandemic that causes its victims to carry out their most evil thoughts. Carriers of the virus are known as the "Crossed" due to a cross-like rash that appears on their faces. This contagion is primarily spread through bodily fluids, which the Crossed have used to great effect by treating their weapons with their fluids, as well as through other forms of direct fluidic contact such as rape and bites, assuming the victim lives long enough to turn. A major difference between the Crossed and other fictional zombie or insanity-virus epidemics (e.g. in the film 28 Days Later), is that while the Crossed are turned into homicidal violent psychopaths, they still retain a basic human-level of intelligence: thus they are still capable of using firearms, motor vehicles, tools like bows and arrows, and of setting complex traps.

The contagion spread across the entire world, with the Crossed killing, raping, engaging in cannibalism and maiming for fun, with governments and military overwhelmed; friends and family butcher each other with anything they lay their hands on, and cities are turned into vast charnel houses. Much of the Middle East is wiped out when Israel deploys nuclear weapons. The last organized act by the US government is to shut down as many nuclear power plants as possible and then kill the nuclear scientists and technicians to prevent them from reactivating the plants. A few nuclear power plants were not reached in time, however, such as Wolf Creek in Kansas and Browns Ferry in Alabama, detonated by Crossed who removed the control rods. One by one the remaining military bases are overrun. Soon human civilization is all but gone, and mankind is an increasingly endangered species.

    Depiction of the Crossed
The Crossed themselves show considerable variation, as they are still self-aware individuals, albeit turned into homicidal maniacs. The actual level of insanity different Crossed demonstrate ranges across a wide spectrum as well. Many are practically feral savages with absolutely no regard for their own self-preservation, to the point that they will gleefully mutilate themselves for the sheer thrill of it, including amputating their own limbs. Others will be so driven to kill that they will carry out suicide attacks, crashing vehicles or causing meltdowns. Most are capable of basic albeit deranged speech, and wield whatever clubs, knives, or sharp objects are at hand to attack anything around them. The more insane Crossed will even attack each other, though they apparently prefer the non-Crossed. Some characters speculate that this preference is due to their need for sadistic gratification: given that the Crossed are so insane that they will mutilate themselves voluntarily, it isn't as fun to torture fellow Crossed as it is to torture uninfected, frightened victims.

    As stated by Garth Ennis:

"The Crossed are people who - through infection - have given in to the absolute worst instincts that human beings can: murder, rape, torture, cannibalism, all of the most cruel and inventive kind imaginable. They are out of control, really. Their number one urge is to get their hands into normal people and commit every ghastly act they can think of - they can't fight it, and they don't want to."

On rare occasion, pregnant women who have been infected and turned survive long enough to give birth, but their babies are born infected as well - apparently the placental barrier provides no protection against the infection (though it is possible that it does, but unsanitary birth conditions infect them during delivery itself, like neonatal conjunctivitis). Crossed women who have given birth are, however, gleefully willing to needlessly murder their own newborn babies.

The rate at which a person becomes infected ranges from several hours to a matter of minutes and once infected there is no turning back. The most common rate of infection is incredibly fast, in the range of one to three minutes. No cure exists for the Crossed and there is almost no hint that scientists were able to study the infection long enough to do any sort of thorough research on the dilemma. While cover art has shown infected lab monkeys, animals generally seem immune.

  12. Question. If a person's most evil thoughts weren't actually bad at all (Say, some die-hard Christian becomes a crossed.) Would the Crossed individual still be relatively sane?

EDIT: Just read Chapter 1, and I'm already scarred for life. Jesus fucking Christ.

  13. Starkiller

    Starkiller OwO whats this!

There hasn't been any signs of empathy or human emotion in Crossed except for about 4 rare individuals and each of them suffered from a mental disability, A Nun for example suffered from epilepsy so she actually was able to show signs of pity and restraint unlike most of the infected

  14. Yeah, I'm at Volume 2 so far. I've seen the nun, and the crippled brother of surfer dude, who seemed to be some kind of badass hero.

Still, this comic is disturbing, and while it's cool, it wouldn't work for Roleplay. Too much rape, and it wouldn't make sense to add a LOOC consent rule to it since almost 100% of the infected rape their victims whilst murdering them.

...Could be good Forum/Text Roleplay, though.

  17. People have a big enough problem with kissing in HL2RP, something like that wouldn't last long. It's really interesting though, I would write a story about it.

Man you're all haters, i'll you h'wat. But I'll take this into account.

  19. I feel as if the Gore, the Rape, the Cannibalism sorta enhances the Roleplay in some way. I'm not sure, though.

It just feels that it's so far from the norm, so fucking insane and weird that it may actually be possible.

There'd obviously need to be a tonne of changes.

    • The CW Quiz would probably just ask if you're okay with Gore, Rape, Cannibalism etc. Instead of kicking you if you say no, Admins get notified and tell you everything that happens on the server once you've made a character, the player can then decide if they want to play or not.
    • Since everything is going to kill you IC, the people on the server need to be literally as nice as possible OOCly to compensate for the fact that they're brutally fucking slaughtering people.
    • PermaKill mode would most likely be on 100% of the time, since death is a massive part of Crossed.
    • Scripts should be incredibly common, in order to make Script hunting feel redundant, and make people actually want to Roleplay.
    • Crossed would be hand picked for their abilities to remain calm OOCly, and not for how fucked up they are.
    • Crossed would not be allowed to infect survivors without Admin permission or an accepted application. Don't want newbies and minges becoming Crossed.
    • Oh yeah. And no children. At all. That shit ain't gonna float on a Server. No whitelists for children, no special admin permission for children. Children are too... Well, Crossed have no morals. Child Rape is the kind of thing that'd get everyone who ever enters the server arrested.

    Anything else?
