Well, I did just say it was fairly new.. Just started today...

Spoiler: Wonderful Explanation

This is literally the default backstory of every server running HL2RP. It doesn't explain ANYTHING about the server, this is basically a description of the default of the gamemode itself. If you really want your server to rise (and not just have this useless thread with a forum link) customize your map, create new factions, develop new ways of RP'ing with Citizens as the main role and less importantly the Combine and the CWU, make fascinating and never-been-done-before events and many more stuff that will make your server unique. This is nothing. Nothing at all.

 

The server offers nothing unique, the owner doesn't know how to host a server and a community. The forums are bad and really default and boring as they use the default freeforum look. The application format is nothing but sad.

Those two are some of the things that the app asks for. Why do you need to know my name and my age? That's just weird.

This thread also needs to be elaborated on for me to ever think about joining.

This is another community that adds onto the list of servers that I won't be joining.

First of all, just let you guys know.
I have kids which I must take care of (Yes, I'm turning 30 this year!), so I can't be sitting infront of the computer all the time like you can.

Secondly, I just threw up that forum in a hurry. Its far from done.

Third, give it some time. It will get better. (No, not the bad kind).

 

Well, I have time on evenings after the kids are sleeping though.. So, I'm dedicated my time to set it all up, but it will take some time, since I'm doing all of this alone.

Thats why I'm telling you guys, that, I need some help.

 

Well that changes a lot. Now I feel like a dick. You still need to throw up a summary of the server and what you have to offer, though.

 

No worries.. You probably thought I was some kid trying to set up a noob server.
Well, I'm not. In fact, I have had (believe it or not) a Minecraft server up since May 2012.

There's not really much to tell about the server yet, since I haven't gotten to set it all up yet either, but we're slowly getting there.

I'll list up what plugins I have so far though:

That's how far I've gotten..

Also, changed the forum to something thats not free hosted.

 

A server hosted by an adult who actually knows how to deal with problems in real life without permanently banning everyone (Your kids, am I right?). Anyways, this community has potential, and at this stage, I'd recommend asking around for some extra help while your away. Like a developer and staff team, maybe even a think-tank.

I'll check it out some time.

I use banning as a LAST RESORT only.

That's kinda why I created this thread, asking for help..
But everyone seems to be really dicks against me here..

All sorts.. Mostly one who can maintain the community and help out on the server in-game though.

Also would be needing players, but which server doesn't?
