    Why not have a variant?

Also, WAYWO is on pretty much every development board on Facepunch.

This is all i could come up with in 5 minutes for a fun title, thought i'd give it a shot for some stimulating word games.

I personally like the first one since it says crap. Then the second one is a double entendre.

Now to topic, I'm currently re-coding my publicly available Clockwork Web Viewer to support steam login and character management. You can check that out here, and see the new version here(which is most likley going to be broken, and since it logs in with steam, you wont have any characters on there.

Custom schema I've been working on for about 2 months now. Making lots of completely custom content for it. Won't reveal too much but I will say that this will not disappoint. Trailer should be up in about a week, no estimated release date atm.

Don't want to make a new thread, so necro.

    Starting a text adventure game.
5 chapters comprising of 10 levels each.
Victorian-Medieval era mashed together on another planet.

    Writing it in Python.

    Complete:
    - Inventory
    - Deaths
    - Character interaction

    Work in progress:
    - Health (finished)
    - Currency (finished)
    - New system for registering locations/items so the programming side of things goes faster
    - Game saves
    - Event probability, event occur limitations

Also started on my portfolio website. It's up and hosted (for testing), but I've hardly put anything together

Would I be able to download your game Datzy? I'd love to help you release it fully and be a beta tester for you.

    1) No, it's nowhere near completion. We have a few rooms of the first level complete, let alone the other 49 to go.
    2) How would you help me release it fully? I'm putting it on GitHub, my portfolio, and handing it in for school.
    3) It's not an active beta, and I don't have a stable way to roll out updates. I don't need any testers either.

Helping you release it fully by beta testing, basically testing it for bugs and exploits.

But I see you wouldn't allow that and dislike the idea so never mind, once again, good work though.

Would there be a download once complete?

It's a text adventure, most of the bugs/exploits would be fixed right away (since we test things procedurally). We'll be taking every path possible and testing everything before release nonetheless.

And yes, there will be a download once complete. We're going to try to make it easy to run it on all operating systems near the end. If we can't do that, it'll have to be run in a command line interface like cmd on Windows or Terminal on Unix/Linux systems.

Is there an ETA for its completion?

Some point in 2014. I'll release chapter one for CLI's before completion. Chapter One should be done in late December/Early January. There's a lot of functionality we need to produce before release, hence the late dates.

Just out of curiosity, not implying there isn't no point of this but what's the point?

Is it just for fun, practice, the thrill of development, or a just a goal? Also of course it could be different than those things but yeah, what's the purpose for the game?
