Fun/Practice mostly. I'm also doing it as an extracurricular Computer Science project for my CS class.

 

Good, I'm glad too see that you also love working on big projects for fun and practice, not for money or goods.

Yeah but programming is more of a hobby then occupation, you don't see to many people engaging in a conversation like this:

Hey man so what do you do for a living?

I do programming how about you?

Though after college you can get paid 50-70k a year and also the salary raising up every few years, you can make up to 120k a year probably.

 

If you're lucky, that is

 

Fix that, and not exactly lucky, just if you did good in Computer Science and that was your major, you could get a very good programming job.

 

I know plenty of guys without a major who have a job about programming.
(You can always go self-employed anyway)

My website right now is a concept that I'm iffy on (thinking of heavily redesigning it again, not enough of what i was trying to do), but if anyone needs a website designed I'll do it for free right now for experience, or if anyone has ideas for fake companies I can do for concepts to put up that'd be great too.

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript if it's needed. Not fluent in PHP, so I can do design oriented things for now.

 

I made a Radio Jammer that blocks defined commands (specifically the radio command) within a defined sphere.

I also made a News Terminal that opens up a web page via derma.


These are being used on ApexGamingRP's HL2RP.

I may sell it for as high as $5. Only problem is that it requires a webhost to put the issues on. If it is ever sold, it won't be soon.
