    i dont see why anyone would want to run GTA at 30FPS rather than above 60 at all times, with astoundingly better visuals.

    it's not the console gamers that are the problem, it's the consoles. learning about PCs has a serious learning curve of course, because you actually have to build it and maintain it, which is what i expect your friends to not know. and i'm not just opinionated, factually, PCs can do way more than consoles can in terms of gameplay. i mean, keyboard and mouse my dude. you don't play CS:GO on xbox.

    and if you know what you're doing, PCs aren't a liability at all.

    but this thread is about consoles, and i stand by gamecube tbh

    I wouldn't even say there's a high learning curve. It's computer legos, you literally just snap and screw a few things together. The one part that can be daunting is mounting the CPU and the cooler, but other than that unless you're doing something generally dumb (liquid cooling) you don't need previous experience.

    I want to say consoles are great, I use mine all the time. But when I really think about it, if it wasn't for exclusives, I would rather just build a $400 PC and have it do all the same things and more.

    I didn't turn this into some "you guys suck", rather, I simply linked a mature, well informed thread with information on what is my preference on the matter of "PS4 of XBOX One".

    Now, if I had to choose between them, I'd pick the PS4, simply for it's higher graphical capability and the fact that I'm a sony fan anyways (I also enjoy their controller more.)

    I would only play on a console though for "game hostages", or exclusives. Whatever you'd like to call them.
