question about the ocean

if 2/3 of the ocean's life hasn't been discovered
that means there is a lot of cool stuff out there
like this


and some weird stuff we haven't seen

so if there is stuff we haven't seen yet
maybe we can find some intelligent lifeform
like another fish

that speaks english

haha that would be cool I think.

 

It's possible (probably not talking fish though!). We're discovering newer species everyday it seems. The National Geographic has some nice images on some strange deep sea creatures:

If life on Earth can be this strange, imagine what it may look like in living oceans on other habitable planets.

 

We know more about outer space than we do our own oceans.
