I've actually been thinking about getting into some reading like Wealth of Nations and maybe Guns, Germs, and Steel.

The only stuff I have been reading is novels like the most recent Modern Day novel I've read was Tweak by Nic Sheff and probably the oldest thing I've read was Victor Hugo's Les Miserables my Freshman year. Big book aswell but really good.

Also into that whole dystopian shit last year, 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World and shit. I'm currently reading Atlas Shrugged I'm about 900 pages in but I haven't been able to put much time into reading it with finals and shit. Yea I know Ayn Rand is the spawn of Satan but the book is actually pretty good and will probably finish it off this summer then probably read Wealth of Nations or Guns, Germs, and Steel.

  4. I've been trying to find a decent novel based in a Cyberpunk setting but no luck so far otherwise, I don't read books that much and when I do I hardly complete it, it's more of a read half then finish it a week later

  6. I've been reading "Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War", which is kind of cool because for the most part it's written by Che himself. Gonna read Fahrenheit 451 next, since I haven't read it yet. I don't know how you damn americans do it, but fahrenheit isn't required leading in xanada.

@Timmy just be aware that Neil Diamond isn't very respected among historians because he dumbs things down way too much, and guns germs steel is the shining example
he's a cultural anthropologist, not a historian, and while I think his books are definitely "thinkers" for most people, they're generally too simple to be factually correct anymore
