HL2RP Recommended plugins for a server?

Discussion in 'Discussion' started by GamCal, Oct 15, 2015.

  1. I might be making a HL2RP server, What plugins should I use? I'm not 100% sure if this is the right place to post this.

Only the necessities like Thirdperson, Checkpoint, etc. Don't overdo it, is my only word of advice.

I'd personally recommend ditching Checkpoint and going for something like serverguard. I'll say that you should atleast have these plugins taken into consideration.

    - TS2
    - Pretty much all of RJ's / Tru's / Blt950's plugins. (Union lock, union light, spelling, afk kicker etc. Spelling requires you to go into your sh_voices file and add a period to each one of the voice commands, or just remove the period part all together.
    - Some kind of skin setting plugin that isn't the bodygroup toolgun.
    - Arbiter's Medical System plugin. (Good for CWU and Medical RP.)
    - Alko's menu (Left Orientated)
    - Extended combine voice commands (You may have to add these yourself. Adds stuff like 10-4, 10-2, 10-8.)
    - More Items by Polis
    - Some kind of menu music changing plugin. The current one is a meme at this point.

you know what grinds my gears? when people use that dumb radio 'emit' plugin, where you can hear what other people say over the radio. or like that dumb lantern plugin. or pac.

I like it because radios should not be a private message system. It's more realistic to have everyone be able to hear it.
