Look, I know this have been done before, and I know what the comments are gonna say "Overdone." But I thought hey, might as well give it a try and do it right.

Background:

The year is 2015, we are at war with Syria due to the ongoing civil war with Israel. We have decided to intervine to stop the threat at once and help out our friends in Israel. We are still in Afghanistan and Iraq cleaning up after the mess we have done to the country. Taliban are still very in power there even with the death of Osama Bin Laden back in May of 2011. We are currently helping out the Somalian government with the piracy problems in the oceans. Our battles have been easy towards the pirates due to their lack of equipment, but hell they can fight.

How Events will Work:
As you know with the different countries issued in this kind of roleplay. I have decided that one day out of the week will be a training day leaving events to be one to two weeks long. Every new campaign we start we switch to one map for a week before going back to the U.S Military Base Map. A Campaign will hold many different events, one could be a downed pilot, another an IED exploding in a neighborhood. You could very well lose your characters life in one week worth of the campaign, I will try to keep it balanced though so that everyone isnt dying here and there.

I am going to give more details on it later. About how they became in open conflict etc. That whole nuclear threat thing is just something to say while I think up the real reason.

I don't think there's anything serious about military RP. I can only ever find idiots and minges on these servers. I NEVER find decent RPers in the low ranks of the army and I rarely find good RPers in general on these types of servers. Please do not try to push this type of RP unless you have a staff that is willing to not be retarded and allow idiots into the military.

 

I will join IF you provide more information on the server, either pm me here or add me on steam. (I'm talking content wise, and I'd also like to know how the pilots would work because that's a difficult task to accomplish.

 

All the servers Cakez listed were shit. Validus gaming is kinda, some good roleplayers, rest were autistic (Me, ferris, galdis,Catherpes.

 

What's with all of the militaryRPs popping up lately? Something happen?

 

From what I've seen, it always turns into a shitfest. Everyone always wants to be the survivor and never the guy that gets his face blown off.

 

but pretty much the entirety of it is people talking about their IRL 'military experience' and flaming each other in (L)OOC. Hell, it'd work better as a S2K IMO.

It's not just the bitching, but it's the amount of bitching. It's almost non-stop.

 

What if two militaryRP servers fought each other occasionally, but aside from that were single-faction and passive?

 

Have two entire playerbases fight, good look affording the resources to do that.

 

It'd just be fighting over occ of which community is better.

 

Constant OOC arugments, rdm, failuretoinjurerp and so on.
It would be the most community breaking event, ever.

The U.S is trying to help the Somalian government replenish itself due to militias taring it apart as well as the Somalian Pirates killing any government official and raiding government ships.

 

You know how the pirates basically died out in 2013 right? Well that was enough time to attempt to rebuild anything they had left meaning a government. So the government is really weak still in Somalia and what we're doing is we're trying to help them repair it more so they can take down the pirates themselves.
