What is it exactly? Game of Thrones Roleplay is a roleplaying schema that is currently being developed by Bismarc and Rustydog. We are striving to create it as a serious roleplay. We are going to stay as far away from the TV Series and ASOFAI lore as possible. We will be using Houses mentioned and seen in the T.V. Show/books. There may be some mention of kings in the past, that were not physically on the T.V. show, such as the Mad King, Religion, Former House Lords, ETC. There will be no characters named to the equivalent of naming your character Eli Vance, Gordon Freeman, Barney, Alyx Vance, and Dr. Kleiner in HL2RP.

How can I get involved? Well, We are looking for ways to improve constantly, and expand our network. We currently are filling all staff positions. We need House Leaders, or Faction Leaders, If you will. We need a lot of work to be done on the forum side of thing, as Bismarc's team is coding around the clock. When does this take place? Our lore takes place in 398 AC which is exactly one hundred years after the begining of ASOFAI meaning all the events of GoT and the series have passed.

House Marbrand
Burning Bright​

House Marbrand is currently led by Lord/Lady ____ Marband, Who is the Grandchild of Damon Marbrand, and the daughter/son of Addam Marbrand. They used to be sworn to the Lannisters but after the events in the past 100 years they have decided to be independent, and try to rebuild their name. They are currently the smallest house, and own the smallest kingdom. They are in an alliance with House Mormont, as they are the only two kingdoms in the North. They are known for having a big Timber industry, and supplying most of Westeros' Timber needs. The Sigil is Marband tree burning. The religion of House Marband is The Lord Of Light. They are located just south of Winterfell, in The Twins.

Here We Stand​

House Mormont is currently led by Lord Harlik Mormont who is the child of Lady Lyanna Mormont. The Mormonts are the rulers of Bear Island. They are were extremely loyal to the Starks, but after The War of The Wall, They had no one to stand with. They are currently in allegiance with House Marband. They are a big producer of Fur and Pelts. They also are some of the few people known to make Valyrian Swords. Just like the rest of The High North, They practice the religion Old Gods of the Forest. They are the only major house in Winterfell, and the current ruler of Winterfell.

We have 3 more houses but I just wanted to post this on C:16 to see what kind of feedback It will get, if people are actually interested, I will add more to this, a timeline, house background, ETC. Please message me on steam or on here if you want to be apart of this project. Thank you.

Feel free to come and help us. The Mormonts gave Jon Snow a Valryian sword, hense why they HAVE been known to come up with them, I had no idea how far away The Bear Island was, I'd like it if you could maybe help me, as you seem to know alot about this. I have read ASOFAI and watched the show, but I guess that's not enough. Please add me.

also, like songbird said the mormonts dont know how to make them, theyre passed down from the beginning of the house since they were forged in old valeryia

 

Doing this on Garry's Mod is a complete waste of time, it won't work.
Mount & Blade is the most suitable candidate for a Role-play server based on Game of Thrones.

GMOD was the worst choice for a melee combat roleplaying server. Melee in GMOD is atrocious.
