Renaming Your Schema (New Addon)

This is like buying Fiji Water.

 

$30? Really? That costs more than the game itself.

 

I'm going to throw out an example of how I think this is like.

Let's buy a thing of lemonade.
Now let's buy a label maker and put a different brand's label on the lemonade.

You just spent more money for a brand you could have bought yourself. Can't we just do the old "Make a schema and submit it" thing still?

if you want few people to have it then make it something to apply for with a valid reason.

You're confusing Schema with Server name.

 

I see this situation as a quantity vs quality situation, as long as it has [c16] or CW: in the gamemode name, what does it matter the custom name? Honestly, this should be like, 5 dollars. People would see "oh look at all these gamemodes this clockwork guy must be good, lemme buy it".

Hrm, I'd personally prefer it to be around 20-25$ Instead of the actual price of the gamemode itself..
But that's just what I want it.

 

that's the same price as 3 other gamemodes on this community that aren't hl2rp. but whatever, i mean, if people REALLY buy it, buy it then... wait five months and it'll be less, i believe.

 

This addon will probably decrease your server's exposure. Gmod's server list is sorted in such a way that the more servers/players for a specific gamemode, the closer you are to the top. Changing your gamemode name will knock you to the bottom of the list.
