HL2RP Revival of NARP.

Discussion in 'Discussion' started by Canoness, Sep 5, 2015.

  1. Heya, wanted to get some views/thoughts on a revival of this project:
    http://forums.cloudsixteen.com/threads/triarii-north-africa-2017.11688/

A lot of people liked it and so did I - mainly for it's realism and the Red Orchestra 2 feel to it, it also had some elements of territory control which gave players the urge to actually want to win. Also it was praised for it's setting in North Africa whereas most servers were based in America/Europe. Overall it was highly detailed and had a quality staff team/playerbase. There were planned events for the C19 takeover of Africa, however the server went down around this time due to external issues with another server.

I just came to see what others would think if this was revived, if people would play it. Puppy0156 has given me the green light to revive it, but some ideas/thoughts would be nice to implement in the server. There's also this thread which is based in the takeover of Africa by C19, had a Wolfenstein feel to it. http://forums.cloudsixteen.com/threads/wip-the-new-union.12361/

Feel free to pitch some schema ideas in!

If you can make it happen, I'll drop by and check it out. The best of luck to you.

Players usually do have this urge already, it's why most arguments happen when any side has something to lose.
