have you guys heard of the new update they're making which is going to definitely drop the amount of players they get
basically valve really looks up to over watch and decided to just get rid of casual play/quick play and make this leveling system and you can only play competitive
and they made a party system so now matches are max 12v12 and you can make parties with up to 12 people

Just got on TF2, this is dumb. Obviously Valve is worried that Overwatch will just stomp TF2, and in any case they'd be right. You put the two games in a deathmatch and Overwatch would roast TF2 like a burnt steak. However the games were different enough to not have that happen, and it seems Valve didn't realize that. Because now it feels like i'm launching up a Windows 95 version of Overwatch anytime I open TF2.

TF2 died when Volvo stopped adding new content and failed to fix existing content
Overwatch by comparison is polished despite being brand new

 

sure overwatch is fun and all but if I had to select between TF2 or overwatch for competitive play, i'd pick TF2 instead.
Overwatch is simply too casual and its poorly optimized for comp play given its shitty clientside tickrate and 60 server tickrate. One can also argue just by the way the game plays it's too casual.
