RPF's Management

- Vanilla Server ( No custom addons or anything such, only plugins are added to improve roleplay )
- We are always available for any support
- We listen to what the players want
- You can only apply for operator after about 2 weeks then the owner's and super admins will decide if you're worthy for a promotion
- Our forums has various details on HL2 ( The Game ) and HL2RP ( The gamemode )
- Trolls are banned on sight
- All logs are reviewed
- Rules broken are taken in a strictly matter

Current Map

( Yes the map is very generic, but it is because at the moment we have a small community, once it is bigger and suggestions are made, it will be changed )

Rules

The rules are simple, just listen and you be fine.

1. New Life Rule- if you died and you were not pk'ed, you must abide by the new life rule. Please do not return to where you died after 5 minutes.
2. Shoot To Hit (miss some shots, but you may hit some also) in a fire fight at medium-long range you would perform Shoot To Kill at close range
3. Use rolls in a fist/melee fight, Play To Lose if attacked from behind and no rolls are needed for guns
4. /me's are required for running away, shooting ( Not each time you pull the trigger ) and then anything you can't actually do will need a /me such as putting you hand on someone's shoulder.
5. Respect the administrators and any one else in the server
6. Don't abuse any flags or perks given from donations
7. Do not power-game ( Example: /me hits the man and knocks him out with one hit. )
8. SexRP is prohibited
9. You must always perform PainRP if hurt in any way.
10. Register on the forums, the URL is 'www.roleplayingfanatics.com'
11. Have fun on the server

Donor ( $2 ) :
- 'pet' flags which will allow building
- 300 Tokens
- Donor Status On Forums

Bronze Donor ( $4 ) :
- 'pet' flags which will allow building
- 600 Tokens
- Bronze Donor On Forums

Silver Donor ( $6 ) :
- 'pet' flags which will allow building
- 1200 Tokens
- Silver Donor Status On Forums

Gold Donor ( $8 ) :
- 'pet' flags which will allow building
- 1700 Tokens
- Gold Donor Status On Forums

Diamond Donor ( $10 ) :
- 'pet' flags which will allow building
- 2500 Tokens
- Diamond Donor Status On Forums


REMINDER: ANY PERKS CAN BE TAKEN AWAY IF ABUSED. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AND ANY SIGN OF ABUSE WILL BE INVESTIGATED.

Now why is there donations for these such things? Well they do give advantages, but donations help me, and I'm sure no one will just donate for nothing, maybe the loyalist players, but that's all. Also, it's because I can pay easily for the slots we have and the website, just, I wan't to upgrade on the slots, add in a teamspeak, and do other stuff for the server such as new upgrades on the website and a lot to mention.

I'm not going to type a bunch of stuff saying our server is special and such, I already showed you what we offer and many things come and go. Hopefully after you're done reading this, you will join the group, register on the forums, add the owner's, and start playing.

Tokens as a Donation Benefit, doing something OOC to get an IC item. That's a no-no.

 

Displaying your donor perks on your front post seems really... unneeded.

On a side note, has it occurred to anyone that buying the $6 and $4 donor packs yields more than the $10 donor pack?

Or if you buy the $2 pack five times, same thing.

 

And the $2 + $4 > $6
$8 + $2 > $10

 

The donator perks are messed up completely. You get more from getting the cheaper deal.

No one cares about a 'diamond' donator status on a forum.

 

Actually that's my, very big mistake, sorry, and also donation benefits, a lot of servers have them. Most successful servers do that's a fact. Now, the donations give low benefits and are low priced so. It's a good thing. You help us by donating so you get some benefits and a status on a forums. If you don't wanna help, don't donate. You should donate if you love the community, but because I'm nice, I'm giving benefits on the side, once again, like a lot of successful servers.

If you buy the 6 dollar and the 4 dollar donations that would equal 10 dollars. Simple enough. But if you buy the 10 dollar donation by itself you get less then if you bought 4 and 6 at the same time.

c18 is the worst map you could have chosen.

 

YEAH GUYS LETS PLAY CITY 17 INDUSTRIAL WITH A NEW COMMUNITY THAT LITERALLY HAS NO UPBRINGING AT ALL

(tl;dr Most communitys have to start on the smallest map, that being: City 18.

 

The fact that you're giving Tokens for donations is sad alone.

You shouldn't have to depend on donations for the server, and if you're making tokens a donation benefit... It kinda seems like you'd be using the donations for your in good instead of for the server.

 

You're right, there basically isn't any other map that is small enough.

In reality, not every single player will be loyal, we aren't the best server in the world. Also, people are always looking for donation benefits and I am not depending on donations. I pay $50 a month out my my paycheck. Now, I can pay that, but with donations, they're cheap, and give little benefits, not major, and will help me bring a teamspeak to the server, and some other stuff that players want. With donations, I can get a break off of paying with my paycheck all the time and spend some more money on myself, while giving the players some server upgrades. So... Yeah.

Also, if it's sad, call Catalyst sad, Hellzone gaming sad, because they're most successful and I know the owners as I've engaged in conversation and they are regular human beings with a paycheck like any other worker. So of course the same thing I said they said, with donations, I can bring server upgrades for the player and get more money for myself, it's a win win!

And those servers have higher prices and even more benefits than my stuff.

 

For a HL2RP themed server/community, I think the theme of the website is a little bit too bright. Further than that, looks organised and good. Apart from the Membercount, lol.

Not something I'd try, because I like the diversity Addons give, I've about had it with all the Stock MPF Models.
