Well if you get bombarded with nothing but insults and people pointing out why the server is bad instead of giving feedback and having manners like these people, you'd feel the same. Also, sad that you did follow me.

Seems like an okay server.

- From what I can see, this is pretty much just your standard Half-Life Two canon. Not much unique is being offered, but that's fine if someone is into that.
- The same goes for plugins and custom content, the standard stuff every server is using.
- Standard roleplay rules, nothing that differs this server from the next server, but it's still pretty solid.

I'm not a fan of the forums layout either, looks a little too squashed together and hard to find your way around. Something like SMF would be a better idea in my opinion, although that's up to you. Although, I do like your choice of map. City 18 seems to be that map everyone hates, but it's alright in my opinion and not used enough anymore.

If executed properly, I can see you earning yourself a decent playerbase. 6.5/10

Well hello!
I am Joe, the manager of customer support and the admin team, blah, blah blah. Okay let me explain a few points to you about the server.
1. Its hard to run a large map with 10 players on. We use C18, because its large enough for everyone to have enough space to roleplay properly, but small enough to keep players able to find one another, and for me to hold events.
2. WE (the server) are strict when it comes to rule such as powergaming, no trolling, you know, but when it comes to grammar, new players, we are quite welcoming.
3. Why did we post our donor benefits on the C16 forums? To give a general idea of what it takes to help us out, and to show that we are not all in it for the money.
4. Why is there tokens in the donor benefits? OMEG NO! Well. It is to attract more players. PLUS 2500 tokens really wont get you much more than a light weapon, with some ammo, SO 2500 tokens compared to the 40k on HZ or the 15k on catalyst isnt a lot.
5. Why are we only 20 player slots? Well starting out putting $50 into a server isnt worth it. As our community playerbase builds we will invest more money, into more slots.
6. Who is that guy who started a whole war? I honestly do not know him, he didnt really go onto the server and form an opinion. And I say that to all of you who are forming negative opinions based on what you see on this post. Just come on and play with us!
7. What the heck is up with the vanilla server! OMEG SO GENERIC! Actually, Vanilla servers are the LEAST generic, most servers have TnB/Metropolice Pack. So that is a unique thing.
8. Some questions that you may have not asked already.
9. What cool do you guys got? We have a full guide on the forums, on how to RP properly. We also have a kind support team. We enforce a S2H-S2k firefight (depending on the range), instead of S2M where your 5 feet away and you have to shoot the ceiling, OR S2K where you are just S2Ming for 5 seconds, then you get blown away. Not up the ass expensive donation options, and we are a developing staff, so we have room for every player interested in applying for a staff position.

Fix for the canon: -Generic Canon is used, but has things added in

-DvL+ cannot go rogue, it is impossible.
-01-EpU cannot become rogue with their own mindset
( Meaning they'd have to be completely influenced by a source and the higher the rank, the harder, the EpU is almost impossible to be snapped out of their loyalty to the unit as they are elite units. )
-The union has about 75% of the money on earth, and IC'ly can create more if needed.
-Loyalists achieve 9MM in protection with 30+ loyalist points.
-The union always wins in terms of power.

The fact that you're taking ERP out of HL2RP really shows how mature this community is.
I don't usually ERP, but it's a completely IC thing. The Combine try and suppress this, but even in Half-Life 2 it's obvious that some Refugees are in a relationship.

 

Well relationships can be rp'ed differently than having to have sex to show love.

The reason SexRP is prohibited is because of how most people actually use SexRP. Sometimes they goof around and pretend to have dildos or being came on which is kind of immature and silly in the HL2 universe as it is serious and rebels would always have to watch their back.

Of course stuff like kissing, hugging, and sleeping together is fine tho.

That doesn't happen. SexRP shouldn't be prohibited on anything other then a family friendly server.

I didn't read any replies on this thread so I don't know if this has been suggested, but you can use other small maps rather than the generic c18. City eleven and city eight are fairly small, for example. And so is city 45.

 

Can't seem to find City Eleven, probably on the workshop, I'm going to take a look at City 8 Canals, looks interesting.
