SA lost

Hello on my server when i came on I lost SA and am a Admin. But when i read my steam id it still won't work. What can i do to fix my rank to SA.

 

Does your server's console log show that it could not connect to Steam?

 

witch log do i look at and how can i find it with these millions of words?

 

Woops. I didn't see that you were still an admin. Try running this in rcon when you're alone on the server.

 

I did it so what do i do now? XP. Still admin.

 

You should have been set to SA. If you weren't, then something is wrong with your server.

Try that instead. Like two separate entries. Paste em 1 at a time.

That's not an error, you should be SA now.

Go into your SQL with heidiSQL, go into your players table, find yourself, change your usergroup to superadmin. Hope that helps! <3

Check your clockwork.cfg and check and see if everything is in order. Sixx didn't have a semicolon at the end of his SteamID. That might be your problem.

 

Sounds like some sort of plugin/addon/config mishap. Really not sure what to say. Did you do anything before this?

 

If it's a MySQL issue, I'd probably just recommend to backup your database then delete yourself from it, to make things really, really, really simple.

If your SteamID is properly placed inside of the clockwork.cfg file, you should be able to log back into your server and the clockwork.cfg should reset your rank to super-admin. Just as a reassurance, you may want to backup and try deleting the config.cw files inside of your garrysmod/settings/clockwork.

 

I am having a similar problem; It randomly happened to me so if anyone knows the solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
