This quote right here I hate. People hate you if you have a plugin list, people hate you if you don't have a plugin list, and people hate you if you have a minimalist plugin list. Just makes no godamn sense why everyone wants/doesn't want a plugin list.

I just want to know what they're using is all, Jeez Badham, It's just out of my own curiosity to see if they have any worth-while plugins or not.

Okay, there are WAAAAAAAY too many specialized divisions. I'd recommend keeping it down to a maximum of four.

UNION: Sociostability, Arrest/Interrogation/Amputation, Apartment Searches, the general unit's activities.

HELIX: Corpsmen, (Medics), Surgeons, medical research of the biological safeties in the city and drugs flowing in and out (On a previous server, we had an synthetic AXD outbreak and we had to work to finding a cure, seeing as how the drugs would immediately kill off citizens in 48 hours after an immediate high.)

GRID: Vehicle/Sociostability/Union Tech Operations and Repairs. These are the guys that fly the Scanners, build the turrets, and work with headcrab artillery outside of the City. And when it's all broken, they put it back together again.

GHOST: Yes, yes, the most edgy and useless Division of all servers if done wrong. The GHOST units should actually work as men (and even women, with magical vagina powers) disguised as the typical citizen, grouping up with 'the wrong crowd' and making his way into the resistance, feeding info to the units. The only issue with GHOST is that this is extremely prone to metagame and should be kept under a tight lid between the assigned unit and the one that should be assigning him.

However, I can see your thing with the 'heavily trained and elite' units, but at that point you really should just leave that to the Overwatch Transhuman Arm.

  8. You spelled divisions wrong. Also, this: Judge & Jury
Dealing with whether or not a Unit is amputated, Both are needed to reach a final verdict. One should be need to reach a final verdict, because you only need one or the other, not both, It's pointless when they do the exact same thing, fuck, merge the two together, it doesn't make sense to have two people do a job one person could do, it just wastes time.

I gotta agree with Shitizens on this, More divisions doesn't mean more diversity and choices or whatever, it just means more so of a cluster fuck in itself, I'd suggest 3-4 Divisions, 5 at maximum.

Jut how I like to see divisions done though.

  10. Also...plugins are pointless unless they truly make the experience, and improve the atmosphere utmost. It's the experience that counts, not addons, and plugins.

Plugins do help to though, because let's all face it plugins are what makes HL2RP Still bearable to roleplay on now-a-days.

If it was still default with some of the 'shit' servers have today, I would of devoted full time to C16 and probably public plugin making and still would not be roleplaying

  12. Aye, but it's useless plugins that bite me in the ass.

Yeah, Use only the useful ones. Like [member=1397]trurascalz[/member] old sexual items plugin, that really spices up RP.

Oh god... No, I don't encourage the use of that, bad.

    Acerius Rock it for me!

How about you crawl back to your stupid community which you seem incapable of actually managing instead of posting crap nobody wants to read in other community threads? Also, can someone tell me how in hell Soviet got that 'Friendly' and 'Good Contributor' badge? From what I've seen, he's not friendly but rather puts community owners down on their threads and he doesn't contribute good material because he posts useless rambling on other people's threads and then recreates his own community thread every time a baby is born.

Back on topic, this isn't the best community thread I've seen but I appreciate that you've taken a good stab at it and put effort into it. Like the others have pointed out, don't have too many divisions/squads in your Metropolice Force faction. The simple reason behind this is that with many servers being limited in player numbers and ratio, half of those divisions will be made redundant. You're better off with four-five solid divisions of all which play an important role and that are useful. If I was the one making the faction, I wouldn't step past six and even that's probably too much.

In any case, I hope your community goes well and that you'll succeed in whatever your doing. Good luck!
