Shadow - so edgy it hurts

Does the github version work?

 

Not yet. Working on it, should hopefully have a minor update out today that fixes it. I'll tag you as soon as I've pushed it.

 

It does work, actually - but it's not easy to install. It's why I'm thinking of a hosted solution from free to $4 a month or something. Something people would be interested in?

If someone wants to try to set it up, it's the standard Laravel setup method. Look that up.

I'll test it out now. I'll re-dl the github version and do the laravel install.

 

So I installed Laravel, but I'm kinda stumped on what to do next. Is there any configs I gotta set up?

 

Rename .env.* (forgot the name) to .env and change the DB details. Then run "php artisan key:generate" and it should work.

EDIT: I'm dumb. Fixed previous error, now I'm getting a "no such file or directory" regarding a "autoload.php" and a "line 17"
EDIT2: Again, I'm dumb. I fixed that. I ran the key generation. It's successful.

 

You running it locally or on a server? I'd love to see it in action. Keep the page a secret by the way, there's no security added yet so anyone can log in.

 

Well, if running it means that my servers up and the key generated, yes. I dunno how to access the page, though.

 

So what do I do? What is the default address for Shadow? Its not up publicly, but I can access the page right now if I had the address.

How do I access it then? Do I set an address? If so, what file do I set this address in..?
