So as we're borrowing ideas... (this is in the 0.89 test branch on the repo.)

He said "Lol" ICly, dat failRP.

OT: I like the idea, but maybe make the whisper a bit larger. That's taking it a bit too extreme.

It's not, actually. Samsung doesn't have to credit Martin Cooper every time they make a mobile phone.

But we all know where the this 'idea' sprung from :)

And we all know where Samsung's idea sprung from? What's your point? Like I said, Dyson doesn't have to credit H.H. Herrick every time they make a vacuum cleaner, even though it's obvious they didn't come up with the idea.

These other HL2 RP scripts and so on have copied many of my own ideas without crediting them, also, that's life.

I don't think identifying whispering, talking and yelling through font size is the best idea. Maybe making the font bold/italicized would be a better idea.

I didn't realize that was your work, I'm not saying you have copied my ideas in total, but a lot of my innovations and ideas have been utilized by other scripts. But I don't mind, so long as people don't steal my code.

It's nice to know you turned this thread from a update thread to an argument, nikizor.

If you wanted to argue with kurozael (the same way you argue with everyone else) you should probably do it in private chat. An open argument doesn't get anything but unwanted third parties and a whole bunch of biased answers.

Nothing provoked me to do this. I liked the idea, and I thought my customers might appreciate a configurable option for this, and so I added it. But, if you look at a side-by-side comparison of Clockwork and other frameworks you'll see that many conventions of mine were taken and used. The only difference being that I don't mind.

Finally, this "idea" can be traced back to Jake, and isn't original by any means. It's a feature I wanted to implement for a long time but never got around to it, but now was a convenient time to add it.

I think you're making a mountain of a molehill here. When you work on "open-source" and free software, you should expect ideas to be used by others, anyway.

This is not some personal attack, or dig, but rather me wanting to please my own users.
