Citizens: Citizens on our server, aren't brainless slugs who slug around a backpack and sit in the plaza all day, they are people with emotions and instincts.
How you can RP as a citizen:
Refugee: The vast majority of citizens in HL2, are hoping, and helpful towards the resistance. Refugees, hide resistance members, try to aid them during fights, and help transfer medical drops, food drops, ETC. You can either join the CCA, as an undercover, or you can flat out join the resistance. As a resistance member, your weapons are flimsly (shanks, cleavers etc) but you are permitted to craft a crossbow/bolts/grappling hook/AK47, and use these weapons to your advantage. We will ONLY permit the crafting of the items listed above.
Crafting items, are not IC, and you ONLY need an OK from a super admin to get a weapon. We don't like limiting people
Loyalist: Loyalists are people who are easily conveyed, and therefore loyal to the benefactors. All though naive, they have the trust of the benefactors, and appear to have more rights. They are used as models for society. From loyalist, you can join an undercover faction of citizens who infiltrate the resistance and imprision refugees, or you can join the CCA/CWU.
Union Of Citizen Employment
UNION Assigned Technician, as a UAT, you will be taken into the Nexus for technical work by an officer on the METRO division.
UNION Assigned Doctor, as a UAD, you will be taken into the Nexus for medical work by an officer on the SURGEON division.
UNION Assigned Mechanic, as a UAM, you will be taken into the Nexus for mechanical work by an officer on the METRO division.
( When you have a UNION Assigned job, you are taken into the Nexus, and are HIGHLY brainwashed, also, you're trained. )
The map we are using which is rp_c18_v1 ( I know, over-used, but it's we don't have much of a community, so a small map is needed )
is set in Arendal, Norway. MPF officers have norwegian accents also but, it is mostly covered by their vo-coder.
Neutral: You don't know where to go, and are confused about where you stand. You can develope your character to go either way, or help a CCA one day, and help the resistance another.
CCA: Divisions and Ranks
-VORTEX, the VORTEX division is the main combat division, they are the first to go in on any raids.
-SURGEON, the SURGEON division is the medical division, they perform surgery on units and are stationed in the hospital near the nexus.
-METRO, the METRO division is the technological/mechanical divison, they work on technology in the nexus and fix things ranging from vehicles
to weapons.
-HUNTER, the HUNTER squad is the recruiting/recon division, they will recruit units and be recon units in any raids or sweeps for backup.
RCT- You have only a stunstick, have to FEAR RP more often, and have no idea whats going on. You're just starting off and are still malnourished, and still like the citizens.
05- You now have a pistol, and only need to FEAR RP, around highly ranked officers, and during fire fights. You can be hardass, but you need a legit reason. You are still slightly malnourished though, so you get no roll bonus in a fist fight.
04- You now have basic training, a pistol and have become adjusted into the CCA. You now can be a hardass, you are well fed, and you get a +10 roll bonus in a fight. However, a slight fear rp is needed around highly ranked units.
03- You now have a SMG, and if you did not enter the CCA pre-meditating going rogue, you can NOT go rogue. You are now developing muscle, have little to no remorse for citizens, and no more fear rp around highly ranked units. You gain a +15 roll bonus
02- Pretty much the same an 03, but more trust and authority, brainwashing starts today.
01- Shotgun, complete hardass, +25 roll bonus, no fear rp.
Highly ranked officers: +30 roll bonus all weaponry, no fear rp advanced marksman training.
