Something I've been working on to keep an eye on servers. Gotta spy on dem servers, man. I'll use it to try calculate when servers die in the future, or how well they'll do. Projections and shit.

This looks so cool. Do you think there'd be a way to calculate average time that users stay on a server? Just another cool stat to have imo.

Definitly a good tool and probably worth a small amount of dosh if you would be able to support it with updates over time

 

Gonna be working on it this week. Planning on adding some more checking to make sure a server is responding properly because right now it throws out a lot of errors. Site will be updated to have better graphs hopefully, too, and be able to choose timespans you want to see stats for.

 

Work has resumed once more, gonna be polishing the backend code and work on a better frontend. Probably gonna add registration system etc too so you can add servers to monitor.

I'll be adding a user system soon so you guys can register and add servers (both private and public) and track them. That means that for instance Requiem909 (@Jameston) can track their server, and soon, set up alerts if it goes down etc.

 

This could be extremely useful if reports were added. It'd be great to have reports like avg. players on at X hour on Y day over the past Z days, when player count peaks occur, how long the server goes without players, which time frames have no players, etc.

There's a lot that could be done with this and the information could be used to improve player turnout, find out when admins should be on the server, etc.
