Need a webpage for your server?
You're in the right place.
If you feel that your server requires a bit more than a post on the communities section on this forum,
Or if that your current server webpages suck,
Then this is a solution for you!
NOTE:
I do not do forums, or other advanced features! I merely do webpages and webpages only!
Apologies for not being able to supply these features.
These pages are intended for just advertising your server or displaying info in or out of game.
The price
It's a good one
There's gotta be some price to it, right?
Well, yes, there is. Each page will cost you about $0.00.
I don't take donations either, but I appreciate your generosity if you happen to make an offer.
[size=14pt]Why is it free? Why don't you take donations?
[list type=decimal]
- I do this as a hobby, not for cash.
- I want to help the C16 community, not just benefit from it.
- I don't have a way of receiving or spending digital currency.
Requirements
Don't meet these? Don't ask for a page.
Before you start asking for a page...
You must:
- Actually have a server (or are creating one).
- Have patience, because webpage development doesn't take 5 minutes.
- Have an idea of what you want your page to look like.
- Have a description of your server available somewhere.
Even if you meet the above requirements, I still have the ability to accept or reject requests.
Don't worry though, I'm a friendly person. I don't reject for no reason.
[size=14pt]Before I make the page...
You must:
- Add me on steam, here (Expect that I'll take a maximum of 2 days to accept any friend requests)
- If you do not wish to add me on steam, PM me on the forums.
- Fill this out.
- Have a reasonable request.
[size=14pt]Furthermore...
I will NOT:
- Guarantee I'll complete your webpage.
- Guarantee I'll immediately start working on your webpage.
- Take responsibility for what you do with your page. If you make me type lies, or information that may upset your players, it is not my fault.
- Expect that you reward me for my work.
[size=14pt]After I make the page...
You are to make sure I receive proper crediting (excluding crediting I place at the bottom of the page).
What you do with it is not my responsibility, ever.
Making a request
The easy part
When you are ready, you must fill this out.
This will place you in the queue for development.
You can view your queue position at any time, as there is a link to do so at the form linked above.
This allows me (and you) to (easily) keep track of who I should be working with at that time.
Your page can take up to 2 weeks to complete, although it'll probably take me 3-7 days.
There is a queue
Therefore, there will be lots of waiting
I will contact you when I am ready to start working with you.
When I am done working with you, you are free to defriend me.
Also, each webpage request will be in the queue, not the person requesting them.
That means if I finish one page, and you've requested two, I may start working with a bunch of other people before returning to your other request.
This is usually on a first-come, first-serve basis.
I am free to re-arrange the queue in whichever order I so desire, and of course, you are able to contact me about any issues there may be with your position in the queue.
Like I said before, to get into the queue, you must fill this out.
You can also view who is in the queue and what order of people I am working with.
Need further support?
Have an issue, or a question?
I strongly urge that you PM me about your inquiry.
You can message me on steam (To friend me, click here),
But I really do prefer you PM me on these forums.
There'll probably be an FAQ of some sort here soon, but that'll only be when questions are actually frequently asked!
Testing of created Webpages
You don't just test it in only IE, right?
Actually, IE is probably the one thing I won't test it in.
You're free to also request that I add some feature to call viewers out on using IE.
In all seriousness, I will test it in all 3 major browsers. (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome)
My experience
My knowledge of programming, and other works
I know these languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, C, Lua, and Java
Also, I can do HTML5 and CSS3.
As for my other works...
Not much else to show besides this.
That's all
You can stop reading, now
Hopefully you should be convinced to give me a try.
You have nothing to lose here, anyhow.
