The year is 2080, our story takes place on Ammon-4, a self-sustaining city founded upon a chain of islands somewhere in the Pacific Ocean..

Despite constant warnings the worldwide climate has changed drastically, and by 2040 the sea levels rose to such a drastic height that the coastlines of many countries became flooded and as major cities were driven underwater the population was forced to retreat back to higher ground. Fearing for their own safety many governments sought to either try and repair their environment or hold off the rising tides but were ultimately unsuccessful in their efforts. In 2029 ideas were pitched by government scientist to their respective heads of state but their pleas were ultimately rejected. It wasn't until these same individuals' ideas were picked up by a number of influential private citizens of various countries that permitted funding on the project that was dubbed "Ocean's Edge". By 2030 the idea of a self-sustaining city on the foundation of several Pacific islands, where private citizens from various nations could endure the worldwide crisis without needing to face the potential dangers on the land, was approved. Construction had started in 2032 and ended in late 2050, with positive initial success. The private citizens invited the heads of state from nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, and China to relocate. Few declined their offer, but many joined, effectively abandoning their country to form the foundation of the new city, dubbed Ammon-4 under the banner of the United Coalition.

The worldwide crisis of rising tides motivated the human population to retreat to higher ground, where they formed pitiful communities that sustained few people. Coastline cities became abandoned and most of the remaining cities on the land had become a haven for criminals and looters that lived among the skyscraper buildings. In the chaos that ensued with the climate change, the secret location of Ammon-4 has been leaked to the public, thus causing large waves of refugees to arrive on the city by boat and plane. Many of these refugees brought with them diseases and tales of the chaos that was in the outside world. At first, the few refugees were granted asylum in the city, and gladly cooperated with the United Coalition in order to keep the city in order. It was only a matter of time until Ammon-4 became overpopulated in the midst of the 2060s. Ammon-4 was originally designed to house 40.000 inhabitants, but this population grew to almost 100,000, causing Ammon-4’s resources to deplete rapidly over the next few decades. Eventually the city’s government was forced to refuse any additional refugees, and those that refused to comply were shot down before they could reach the island. The last boat to arrive on Ammon-4 was in 2068, and after that, the United Coalition cut all communications with the outside world, isolating the city from the continents. To cope with the uprising of the refugees and the constant need of protection for the city’s critical districts, the United Coalition instituted new laws that would form their existing police force into a para-military force known as Neo Pluto Corps. This security force tasked with protecting the important districts of the city as well as crushing riots cared little for the refugees and started to spark the start of civil war. It wasn't’t long before the supplies began to be rationed, promoting the refugees living in misery to large scale rebellions. Water and food was distributed primarily towards the United Coalition’s personnel, then the Neo Pluto Corps, the island's middle-class workers, and lastly the refugees. In response to the tyranny of the city’s government, the refugees formed an infamous insurgent group known as the "Beta Insurgency." Originally a militia of voluntaries that swore to crush the United Coalition, bring equal rights to all of the city’s inhabitants and escape the city to contact the outside world, the insurgents grew eventually to house criminals from the outside such as violent murders, thieves, and arms dealers.

The fate of Ammon-4 is unknown as of now, but each soul on the island has their own story to tell. Will you rise through the ranks of the Neo Pluto Corps and crush the Insurgents with an iron fist? Maybe you'll fight your way to the precious resources you need to live via the Beta Insurgency. Maybe you'll just wither away in obscurity as a worker. The choice to fight for your life, or fight for freedom is yours.

:The Factions:


United Coalition​

Formed in the wake of the global crisis, the United Coalition is the principal government of the city of Ammon-4. At first a handful of high priority political persons wealthy elite from all over the world, now grown into a single governmental body that has long since dictated the future of Ammon-4 as best as it could. With little resources at hand and numerous violent clashes with the refugees, the United Coalition seeks to regain control of its island home via the Neo Pluto Corps. Composed mostly of scientists, wealthy citizens, and political leaders, the members of the United Coalition hail from all major countries, abandoning them as a means to survive and maintain Ammon-4. The Coalition's first and foremost important principle is to sustain Ammon-4 and conserve its remaining resources while trying to find new ways to create an optimal habitat for humanity, but years of planning have been hindered by the city's Insurgency.

The personnel of the Coalition mainly reside in Coalition Tower, the iconic landmark of Ammon-4, situated right in the heart of the Section One on the main island. While occasionally inspecting the districts, the high ranked individuals of the Coalition are not a common sight in the districts, instead appointing local governors with authority to rule the surrounding districts. Colonel Alexander Brown serves as the United Coalition's military advisor, and has sole sovereignty over the commanding structure of the Neo Pluto Corps, answering only to the United Coalition Senate.

Above the refugees, but just under the police force, are the civilians that live on Ammon-4. Workers in the middle-class of Ammon-4 strive to keep the city's failing network up and running while the fighting from civil war runs by their heads. They have the privilege of living under the United Coalition with Ammon-4 citizenship, with access to higher living conditions and better food items. They benefit from protection, better water and food rations and access to United Coalition elections, in which they can choose to pursue a political life for themselves on Ammon-4 that would lead to a relatively safe life in Coalition Tower. Many refugees work to achieve United Coalition citizenship, and only those loyal and dedicated enough manage to be accepted. It is the dream of every refugee to achieve Coalition Citizenship but even then the already present civilians try to separate themselves from the refugees that gained their place through labor.

Neo Pluto Corps​

The first line of defense, the Neo Pluto Corps. The standing army and police force of Ammon-4, the Neo Pluto Corps contains both the Neo Pluto Task Force and Neo Pluto Commandos. Originally two separate private military corporations, the United Coalition bought out them both in order to form the new security force of Ammon-4. Relying on advanced tactics and weaponry to constantly fend off the Insurgent threat and keep the city successfully functioning, preserving the life of the people aboard, no matter their class. Composed of original members of the Neo Pluto Corps, the citizens of the United Coalition, and refugee volunteers who have joined for better living conditions. These men and women of the Corps are the only obstacle between order and chaos, and are ready to stand their ground on the frontline to secure the future of Ammon-4 and save their beloved ones. Originally formed as only a military faction, the Neo Pluto Commandos expanded during the August of 2064 to include the Neo Pluto Task Force after a rebel insurgent made an attempt on the life of a United Coalition official. Now under the leadership of Colonel Alexander Brown, the Neo Pluto Corps works to protect the citizens of Ammon-4 from dangers both foreign and domestic.

The Refugees​

The global rise of the seas forced mankind to relocate to higher ground. Some were left behind, some were killed in the chaos that followed the worldwide crisis, but some choose to take life into their own hands and seek the fabled city of Ammon-4. The first guests to arrive on Ammon-4 were the families of the persons in the United Coalition, then the families of the workers who built the city came, lastly the great wave of refugees from around the world fought to arrive on Ammon-4. They came by plane and boats alike, bringing with them disease and famine. Some of the new arrivals were criminals, others were ex-soldiers with contacts in the government, some used to be called 'rich' in the outside world. Nothing mattered anymore, every refugee who came to Ammon-4 was equal. At first, the uninvited guests were given housing in the city, but as their numbers grew, the resources dwindled and the space to house them all shrank. To help maintain the order, the Task Force split the city, creating checkpoints between various districts, separating the U.C. districts from the refugee slums. The newcomers were assigned daily jobs to keep the city functioning at peak, but even then it couldn't save the destruction that civil war brought upon the city. Years went by, various facilities were raided. Clinics, water pumping stations, anything that had the means to produce resources were either destroyed or picked clean by the refugees and the insurgents, leaving Ammon-4 on the brink of failure. Authorizing lethal force, the government managed to protect some of the last remaining resource facilities of the city, keeping the inhabitants alive. Water has been long rationalized, food aswell, the coastal mini-dams built on top of the prototype "Coral-V12" have been failing, sinking some into the sea, leaving way for the sea to flood some of the districts. As one of the refugees you must learn to survive on humanity's last resort of hope in a dying world.

Beta Insurgency​

The men and women of the resistance against tyranny, oppression and inequality! The Insurgents are a large faction of deserted soldiers from the United Coalition, voluntary refugees and desperate souls who strive to overthrow the regime of the United Coalition, restore equality to the people of Ammon-4 and contact the outside world, ensuring their survival. Armed with stolen high-tech weapons and camouflaged outfits with kevlar vests, the Insurgents are the principal issue that the United Coalition faces on the city of Ammon-4. Unable to destroy the Insurgents despite many attempts, the government has been fighting a civil war with them for years now. Most of the Insurgents hide among the refugees in the slums, which in turn halves the effectiveness of locating primary targets by the NPC. Some of the insurgents can be considered fanatics who would stop at nothing to achieve their goals, so thoroughly dictated to them by Brother Constantine, the enigmatic leadership figure of this whole resistance movement. Each day, the Insurgents plot yet another plan, each day, they pick up the weapons of their fallen members and resume fighting for a better future, free from lies and oppression. For their people to survive, they must escape Ammon-4 at any price, it's a derelict time bomb waiting to explode in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

The server is slated to open this Saturday at 7:00 PM Central Time! Please be sure to submit any applications before the server opens to ensure that you have access to a whitelist when the server opens. The server's opening event will include a short broadcasted speech from the leader of the Neo Pluto Corps at around 7:30 PM followed by server introductions to those that need it. As of now server information is posted on the forums and being updated as needed. All information is expected to be finalized by Friday night or Saturday morning. Please bring your friends and let's all try to welcome the world of Ammon-4 to The Reeplex community!

The same concept of the island, but it isn't the same universe. So not a direct Bring RP bit it is inspired by it.

I don't "work" for deadikation, he just houses the box and the forums that we're utilizing. It's under his community but he has little say in how the server is run, though I do respect his opinion. The reason this is failing is because the person that originally came up with the concept has left the project due to personal reasons and I don't feel comfortable running his roleplay without him.
