"It is the height of the Galactic Civil War.
Although the Rebel Alliance has destroyed
the dreaded Death Star, the Emperor still
holds thousands of systems in his grip.
Throughout the galaxy, brave adventurers
struggle to restore peace, while smugglers,
bounty hunters and crime lords prosper
amid the chaos.
Civil war rages.
Innocents and heroes alike are swept
into the conflict. The fate of millions
shifts with every battle."
-Star Wars Galaxies Opening Crawl
Who we are:
We are former community owners of Touchdown Roleplay and are also the former managers of Reeplex's Halo Roleplay. As stated before, we are a few individuals with a dream for quality roleplay with the freedom to not be abused or deal with corruption that would affect your fun on the server.
@DeadiKation has once again given us a chance to bring a new type of roleplay to the Reeplex community, and we wish to extend it outwards to many of you looking for an immersive Star Wars experience and a general fun time.
Our Mission:
Once again, our mission is to provide you, the player, a quality, immersive, and fun experience in the Star Wars universe. We want nothing more than for you to have fun with what we have to provide for you. We will always assist you when needed, and we will respect you as much as our own administration. However, we expect you to show us the same respect, as well as every other player on the server. This is not a server to sit in and minge or be unserious. Quality and immersion is strictly enforced.
The Server and the Setting:
Our server is set in the year 1 After Battle of Yavin (ABY), which is between Episodes IV and V, exactly one year after IV, and two years before V. Our current map is set on Nar Shaddaa and is under Imperial occupation. As a new player, you will disembark from the public shuttle into the seedy undergrounds. You are known as a "Spacer", an Imperial citizen who's affiliations, political stances, origin, religion, goals, motives, and even species is completely up to you. From here, you will decide your journey, whether it be to become a criminal, a mercenary, a bounty hunter, a merchant, a bartender, smuggler, or anything you can think of that is friendly to the Star Wars lore. Perhaps you would like to enlist in the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, or chase the hidden Rebellion to fight the Empire in the streets from the shadows. The possibilities are nearly endless.
The Galactic Empire:
The main dominating faction and the current governing body of the known galaxy. Despite being infamous as a humanocentric totalitarian empire, the New Order maintained a loose grip on the outer-rim worlds resulting in a higher fluctuation of crime and corruption. More interested in rooting out traitors and rebels, the Empire has established garrisons across these frontiers to maintain presence. As a player, the Stormtrooper Corps is your way into the Imperial military. Your job is simple, and that is to maintain Imperial law and order. Common criminal riff-raff is likely the least of your concern, but may still be yet another problem needing a solution depending on how you view the current state of the galaxy. For most, the main enemy are the rebel traitors who dare defy the Emperor's rule.
Due to their presence, Imperial law is enforced. Even though open-carrying weapons of all small-arms types aren't a taboo of the outer-rim, licenses are needed for certain things. More specifically, Bounty Hunting and Mercenary licenses. Procuring a Bounty Hunting license will allow you to collect full reward and benefits from Imperial bounties, and a Mercenary license will allow you to legally fight in the war as a paid combatant while maintaining some individuality.
The Alliance to Restore the Republic:
Also known as the Rebel Alliance. This military resistance is an alliance between different galactic Anti-Imperial insurgent groups. Their military and presence is completely dependent upon location and whoever leads them. In most outer-rim worlds, The Alliance Army exercises a more militaristic and professional fighting force. However, due to the cramped nature of Nar Shaddaa, the Alliance cells have no choice but to resort to complete urban guerrilla tactics. Their leader, and even their existence among the Nar Shaddaa populace is unknown.
Player-Made Factions:
From mercenary companies, to street gangs, to organized crime syndicates, and even to businesses. These groups are what represent the diversity among the Spacer population and gives a chance for any player to gain in character influence or perhaps contribute to it. Having a declared player made faction can come with certain rights, such as the right to declare war on other factions and participate in factional wars for control of buildings or areas.
The Cantina:
Ran by the local crime lord, this is the main roleplay hub of the server. Here, you are more likely to meet new people looking for passive roleplay, get information, or even get jobs to earn credits. It is the perfect place for nearly any kind of advertising as well. However be warned, standardized Imperial ID checks will mostly take place here.
The Motel:
Ran much like the concept of HL2RP apartments, these rooms are up for grabs whenever you need them as personal living spaces, or need a place to escape from the flock of unwanted ears.
The Imperial Garrison:

The center of Imperial control on Nar Shaddaa. This re-purposed Republic fortress serves as the garrison for Imperial forces. Here, you can obtain licenses, get information, report rebel activity, or enlist in the Stormtrooper Corps.
Other Comments:
Our server is set in the Legends canon of Star Wars, which is every bit of official Star Wars media pre-Disney acquisition. The new movies and shows do not apply here at all, nor does their interpretations of the Star Wars canon.
I've been asked before if this is HL2RP with a Star Wars skin. Not even close. Although the idea of having an oppressive environment is similar, the execution and experience itself is vastly different. Not only do we have to factor in the gun culture and general wildness of the Star Wars universe itself, but as to how much different the Galactic Empire is from the Combine. The Empire for the most part has about as many rights for it's citizens as the United States, maybe more or less depending on what exactly we're talking about. People generally live free lives under the Empire, especially in these outer-rim worlds such as Nar Shaddaa. You're also much less likely to be randomly shot or executed for breathing the wrong way or picking up a pace above a certain speed.
So, for any information you may want in the Star Wars universe, go to this link and read away. Make sure the article has a "Legends" tab and that you are reading the Legends tab. Canon does not apply.
